    They have separate teams working on separate games, they may shuffle staff around a little bit but if they are that short they would just employ more people.

    FF13-V is taking so long because SE are slow ass developers.

    There's no way there are 250 people working on the current version of FFXIV. Those people most all be working on FFXIV version 2.0 which is essentially almost a completely different game.
    Goes without saying, but it doesn't matter where the majority of the staff are, no point polishing a turd as they say, just start from scratch which is basically what they are doing with the 2.0 reboot.
