Why? How come they get to complete their collections but I can't just because I played at the wrong time? So now any new player starting the game that wants to collect everything just has to deal with it? Sorry, that's just not cool.

Just a quick stab in the dark, but 1.X was not the same game. You are effectively asking for the items from a different game to be given to you in a new game. Sorry, that's just not cool.

But they're still IN THE GAME! And because of that, I can't complete my collection. The developer's have shown they're against timed or exclusive content, so why not make 1.0 stuff available again?

The titles and achievements are in the game because someone too the time to convert them to ARR. Did you ever play 1.xx at all? Because that is a completely different beast than what we have now. I'll say it again: the means to get the 1.xx achievements/titles are literally non-existant in the game code and recreating the original means for getting them is nigh-impossible.

I'm sorry, but I really hope that you are joking.

1.0 was a disaster. It almost destroyed the Final Fantasy name, that's how bad it was. Legacy exclusives need to remain exclusive for those that were loyal enough to SE and the FF name to pay for and play 1.0.

Like, I am all for people having other 'time-exclusives' such as past event items and whatnot, but I really think 1.0 stuff should be left for the legacy players.

Does any museum have 'all' the art? Does (the average) oldtimer, stamp, vinyl, video games collector gonna 'have them all' at some point?
I wouldn't stop a PS3/4 tropy collection, just because there are some time-gated (not doable anymore) trophies out there that I can't get anymore.

Do they cry all the time because they can't get something expensive or because it would be to much effort? There are some things only existing 10 times and still millions of people collecting such kind of things..

Yes a lot of people do in today times, just look at the election, or browse around on youtube.
