Glamour & housing are the true end game in this game,
gears are useless, they become obsolete every patch

"Never forget 90k" - August 2013
Can totally understand this, but really can't get behind the logic of enjoying that content and requesting it to be in the cash shop. As an analogy, right, it's like if players who loved the battle content in the game requested they put access to new dungeons/raids/etc in the cash shop. Surely they belong in the game, yeah? You're already paying monthly for it, as you say "glamour & housing are the true end game", so following that logic they should be obtainable in the actual game. I understand having disposable income (or just being a kid who has no concept of the value of a dollar), but surely... surely if you had the option you'd rather have it accessible in the game, right?

See, I sympathize with your point but I'll show you where you went wrong. Can totally understand this, but really can't get behind the logic of enjoying that content and requesting it to be in the cash shop. (Pretends to hover mouse over the word logic)
There's no logic involved when it comes to glamour.
When will the forum understand this?

They spent at least $108 on the same 6 digital dresses RECENTLY and already want more clothing added to the cash shop that they can just buy, while also requesting it be made account wide so that they don't have to buy it for all their characters again. This issue is just like politics in general though. Everyone has their side and the few that cross over do so on their own accord.

What spookyghost said is the point I'm trying to bring across.
This. So? I have alts, I have 4 houses 2L,2M(I can show the ss after school) could buy more ifi wanted lol, I love glamouring(I spent 18m on the full poncho set) too but I do not come to the forum and say stuff like " I wouldn't mind paying 120$ or 50$ for it just give it to me!" I was born with a silverspoon but I was taught the value of money too. And I disagree, while gears are obsolete you lose the chance to improve, to understand not only your roles but the others as well, Yes you can pay gil to have people run you through content and get gears, but you can't buy skills.
I do not like the idea of things that could've been in-game rewards to be locked away by DLC. Yes I can afford it, but if you have read the pleas of the sincere community you would've been tactful with this thread, learn to empathize, I've seen F2P games crash and burn because of people like you. Anyways I'm done here this is getting nowhere.

The thing is that those items wouldn't have been in-game. Or if they had, then other things we already have wouldn't have been made. Cash shop items are an extra, apart from the main content we're getting regardless, made so that the company can get extra revenues and have more money to do more things.
Now, if we think about the main content we have, we have more outfits, hairstyles, and basically more of everything in nowadays' patches than we did back in the beginning. That's because the game was able to gain extra money, which translates in more things for all of us, and I guess that's thanks to the merchandise and the cash shop.
However, people not only want extra things (that cost extra money) to be added in-game, without sacrificing any of the other stuff we have, but they also want to make sure that SE won't get that necessary extra money in any way. I think anti cash shop people should take a moment to think about what they're truly asking for; we can't simply follow the rule of "I, I, me, me" without knowing that the less we support a company, the less things we'll get.
(Edit: NPC outfits cost 10,50€ if I remember well, not 50 *falls over*)

I'm not so sure about that - by that logic patches wouldnt have been possible before the cash shop. New content was always released and I remember them saying that the issue wasnt so much money but rather that they couldnt find new devs? Now, if we think about the main content we have, we have more outfits, hairstyles, and basically more of everything in nowadays' patches than we did back in the beginning. Yes, we got more stuff - and yeah, cash shop might have played a role in it - but I'd like to remind you that we got new hairstyles etc. etc. before that too.
