I don't really agree with this opinion, mainly because I really don't want to believe it, but I can understand why you would feel this way, and god knows I've felt this way plenty of times before. I still say it should be reported, though, because this is seriously a horrific, explicit example of people going out of their way just to harass someone, and do we really want people like that running rampant around the community?

Now, as for my story of today, I started queuing for A9 and A10 with a... shall we say, neutral outlook. Because "meh" is the best I can muster after a long day at work, plagued by a chronic illness of mine that tends to flare up sometimes and put me in constant pain. For a while, things were okay. In fact, I'd say they were great. I somehow got 3 comms after the single A9 run I had to do, despite being a lazy horrible BLM who didn't want to DPS on the adds and risk losing Enochian.

A10 was still kind of okay, except I couldn't win a drop to save my life. Of course. On the bright side, I learnt that my casts will randomly interrupt if the target jumps around while I'm casting, apparently. Between this and my growing fatigue from the aforementioned constant pain which is still affecting me, I came down with a bad case of Enochian Dysfunction, in which I could get it up just fine, but I simply couldn't keep it up.

At least I have my drops now.

Got Sastasha back to back running Mentor Roulette for newbie bonuses on my WHM.

The first dungeon, we had a GLD who did not use flash once during the entire dungeon, and would only focus on a single enemy in each group. This meant that when I healed, I would immediately be tanking the other 1-3 mobs in the group. Also, this GLD had only 300 HP, where most tanks should have 500-600 at that level. He was wearing the lvl 5 dps custom chestpiece (which has no VIT), and two peices of his race's starting gear (Which have no stats period).
I would have given him advice, but he had a lvl 60 Warrior.
Tried vote kicking, but one of the dps was partied with him.

The second run was fine, except for the rogue DPS who constantly ran around in circles while fighting enemies, and use skills randomly. I tried to get him to stand still and use his proper combo, but he didn't respond and continued his face mashing the keyboard.

I will admit to dancing around the opponent randomly a lot, especially since auto-attack hits no matter where I am facing ^^;
But at least I end up on the right side for my positionals, so it's all fine......right? xD

Earlier I got vote kicked out of Weeping City for... being a decent healer? I honestly don't know.

On the first boss the other healer (WHM, I was an AST) died like 4 times or so along with other people due to many things like going down and dying because both healers are too busy healing people who are up and just looove to stand in the purple thing, or staying close to the center when she does the sand aoe, or looking at her during Fond Affeared and other things that I didn't even see due to being too busy trying to keep the party up. Closer to the end there were 2-3 people left alive in our group so I used LB3 without hesitation and we killed her without another death. People even thanked in the chat for the raise so made me think that it was more than okay that I used LB3.

On Forgall we nearly wiped in less than a minute cuz most of the DPS were too cool to kill adds. Then due to this huge amount of damage (2 adds were not killed), a lot of people died and with some aoe in our faces the tank in our group, the other healer and a few DPS also hugged the ground. I tried what I could to get everyone back up but MT also died so Forgall was having fun running around until we finally wiped.
But then as I finally come back to the arena, buff everyone, Stoneskin the last DPS (cuz WHM decided to cast Stoneskin II on just 3 peeps), I see the message in the chat "Why vote kick?" and realise what's coming.
YUP. I was votekicked. Why, how and other questions will be never answered but my god, I was actually happy to be out of this mess XD

Hope you guys had fun in the rest of this actually Wiping City run :'D
Also thumbs up to Arcus Senilis - probably the only good person in that group, who was the one to ask why the hell they were votekicking.

Still wondering what the reason was but whatev, I got a much nicer group, co-healer and run after that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I only had this happen once (thank God) but a tank kept on running around circles when we were fighting Dotoli Ciloc in Xelphatol. Needless to say this resulted in the melee deaths of the dps a few times.

Politely asked him to stop running around in circle and if you must dodge the tank buster dont run ALL THE WAY AROUND THE BOSS.

Tank got his feelings hurt, banged his head on the keyboard a few times because his response was "SjknlA... AKJLwoid xm,,,*ik"

A couple minutes later he said "if you don't like my skills then leave."

10 seconds later, the vote kick was passed. Dark Knight was no more. Dragoon tanked the rest of the fight perfectly with no deaths.

Soooo, maybe I shouldn't of drunk ran an Ex roulette. Things went fine (from what I remember) but at the last pull before the last boss, I was large pulling the entire room. I was swapping between defiance and deliverance all dungeon without any issues, but I guess I let one of them suckers pull away. Cause as I ran to behemoth and I hit him in the face once, I noticed the healer was not with us. And a msg in chat saying, "nice tanking". But, the DPS and I got it down to like, 3% hp before he killed me (without a healer, I guess that wasn't bad? Should of holmgang'd, but forgot =\)

So then I said my apologies and told them I was slightly inebriated and didn't notice (slightly may have been an understatement). To which I was met with a "Well then, thanks for queuing ahole". I just simply said "Your Welcome!" but man... 1 death that delayed us maybe 1 extra minute... didn't think i'd get reamed for that. Oh well. Last boss went down before he even summoned behemoth though. So I know i wasn't sucking that bad xD

Agreed. There's players who purposely do stupid stuff (someone mentioned a Xela tank doing weird spins) where it is pointed out politely but he throws a fit, then there's..... this. Sorry but he's missing so many cooldowns etc. not to mention the raw stats from the soul stone... He was carried. We at least expect people to have their kits with them. If they can't use it effectively most people have few issues going "hey, try this". A12 can be brutal even WITH the right cooldowns.

I'm also gonna put the best part in bold as that's 100% true. Big difference between refining your craft and plain not having the right tools. Do you use a hammer on a bolt? No, you use a wrench.

So, had a griefing DRK in A9N normal recently while I was on MCH. Basically didn't share cleaves with the MT PLD on Faust Z. While I know it can be done solo tanked in Normal, the MT ended up dying at 5% and then the WHM died afterwards before we killed it. I believe I was next on the hate table and the DRK made no effort to pick up the boss as far as I can see, though it did die soon afterwards.

I made a comment about how the two tanks are suppose to handle cleaves together to relieve healer strain and I got a snarky comment in return. Shrugging it off, we move onto Refurbisher 0.

Everything is going great until Full Metal Faust pops. The DRK then decides to get hate on the Faust and leave it right there, resulting in a wipe because Faust gets melted by the lava before it dies. I will admit I did make a snarky comment in response to this and the DRK makes a comment about "umadubad" and "stay free noobs" before dropping the party immediately.



We then proceed to 7-man the fight with minor issue.

Though I guess I can't expect much more from a tank with Sophia weapon and having Parry melds in their armour and attitude like that. *Shrugs more*
