Hehe, us who dont mind paying to play, will pave in a new golden age for the future of FFXIV, and then the moaning forum trolls will come back in droves. Going, yeah SWtor/GW2 did end up sucking in the end.
Just like any other overly hyped up MMOs so far. Aoc, Aion, Warhammer, Rift. All got such high ratings. But then after people got past the smoke and mirrors, they saw it for what it really was.

FFXIV was not an overhyped MMO unlike the ones I posted. I had never heard of it until I bought my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and the trailer for FFXIV was on it. Thats the key difference. Plus I think FFXIV has gone from being bad to a really fun way to spend my free time.

Just because you didn't hear about it does not mean it was not hyped to hell, which it was in my circle of community. I have personally hyped the shit out of this game to all my friends up until release just to look like an idiot because the game sucked so bad.

Thats why you should never hype anything until you KNOW after you have actually tried it yourself
