    For Helidor, helios means "sun" in greek and doron "gift."

    It's a bit strange how they'd mix the two conventions, but then again, his mother is a midlander. Further, her name, Julyan, is latin (the meaning of which is debatable), as is Hildi's third, Maximilian ("greatest").

    While we're at it, let's say that their surname is indicative of origin, as it contains the suffix -ville ("village" or "settlement"). The remaining question being "where is Mander?" Or rather, "who is Mander, and where is their village?"
