If you honestly think people wacking each other to death in teams is anywhere near raid content, you must have never been outside of roulettes or DF content. Sure there is some learning curves, like anything in this game, but it does not take long to get used to and "master" pvp.



Right, just gang the healer, there is nothing skillful about that, It's not even close. it's like trying to master jumping jacks.
it's easy to be a "top pvper" when there is a serious lack of competition, it's like being in a town populated by only 20 people, and you're the best gardener. I know you are trying but it's just not the same, sorry.


See above, of course everyone will "rekt" the healer, because it's the smart option..does not mean it takes much skill, other then running a lot.

Reading this already tells me that you never played pvp and have no clue about it. It doesnt take long to "master" pve tbh new raid content gets easier and easier you follow a script and after first kill u just faceroll farm fights.Healing unpredictable dmg while getting interupted and CC thats imo skill sure raiding is too but saying pvp does require alot less is simply wrong. ...So if its so easy then gl. Im out here for now general discussion is just a huge complain section no matter if its event, pvp, cash shop or a grind reward. no matter where u place the rewards ppl complain.

Yes, because all those world first groups first go to pvp and then annouce it to the world, Since it on par with raiding. this entire game is based on a pattern that you have to learn and memorize, the skill comes from your awarness and ability to learn quickly, and all those groups wiping on the same content even tho they know what to expect, should tell you, which is why top raiders are very few, pvp is dealing with real people which for the most part can be unpredictable, but then rely on exploits or "easy" ways of taking down your enemy, i have played pvp in many mmos, and this one was not much different, the style does not change, in a nut shell, lower your opponets health before yours, It's not rocket science.

FFXIV does not have some magical, unique pvp that differs from every other MMO game. it's faceroll boring, which is why i stopped dealing with it. yes it takes "skill" but on a very low tier level that is quick to learn. You want skilled competition? try a fighting game, where actual real skill comes into play.

It's always hilarious when people with zero clue about PvP try to trashtalk it because exclusive rewards they can't get apparently hurt their feelings. I could just do a Yoshi P on you and tell you to "git gud" but tbh, if you could, you would.

If you don't enjoy PvP, for whatever reasons, that's your cup of tea but trying to badmouth it at its base without ever having accomplished anything in that regard is pretty sad. Was I supposed to get anything else from this post other than one giant "waaaaaah!"? Seriously, have your own delusions regarding this topic and the place several people have in it gone so far that you're just pulling things out of thin air? First and foremost, it's not "my content", it's one of the many I enjoy doing in this game, I'm really not a hardcore PvPer and barely played during the last season. Since this seems to be your only "argument", I might as well stop here but tbh, the way you get worked up like a madman over something that shouldn't even concern you is quite funny, so I'm gonna continue. Trashtalking PvP without having anything to back it up is not critizising content by the way, it's you being a whiny tool.

Comparing PvP to high-level PvE is not even the point here. No one, literally no one but yourself came up with this comparison; the best part is that you've probably never set a foot in savage raids or high-rated PvP.
And if someone masters kicking a can, they at least have the right to say how hard it is to master - unlike you who is about as far away from mastering PvP as your arguments are from being taken seriously.

You still haven't posted on your main, nice distraction tactics. When someone talks about how hard content a is in comparison to content b, while wearing leopard lingerie, cheap make-up and zero achievements in both a and b, a man at least wants to know how much you're talking out of your a**. Apparently, a whole lot.

Tbh, with the current popularity it's not hard at all if you're somewhat decent at PvP. Unless they make some changes to the matchmaking and rating system, on top of those sweet reward/s, anyone who is dedicated and has some PvP "talent" can definitely reach the top 100.
