Your take on Alts

Making it possible to send money and/or items through mail is a commonly exploited tool of gold sellers/scammers/etc in most MMO's. It also ends up being the source of many a dup'ing exploit. So cutting it out saves them a lot of work on many fronts. And I doubt it'd add enough value to enough customers to justify it in general, let alone once you consider opportunity costs.

One character is all you need to play this game. You want more - pay for it. It's optional.

Nobody has argued against paying for it. We already ARE paying extra for it, and I for one am perfectly satisfied with that. Nor have I heard from anyone who isn't. But given the fact that we are indeed paying extra for it, it's not unreasonable to expect some really basic QOL features geared towards it. Why should we need another player to take care of passing stuff to our alts on our behalf? We should be able to do that ourselves, without wasting our friends' time or worse taking the chance that they aren't as good of a friend as we thought and might steal the stuff. Or why can't we invite our own alts to join an FC or linkshell we want for all of them?

Actually, it wouldn't affect gold sellers at all, since they generally have multiple accounts anyway. Anyone with multiple accounts can already pass stuff between their alts. It's only people with just a single account who are affected by this, and that's generally regular players, not gold sellers.
