There is a point to it tyvm, you'll be using them for dungeons at some point and if you can Glam your retainers why cant you do it with your squad, that WILL fight for you and WITH you soon-ish? You cant say something is pointless just because YOU think it is and everyone ells loves it and wants it.. Just because YOU don't want to put the work in to it, don't make it a bad idea or pointless.
