There Is No Dancer (yet)

She must be a Dancer because of that single fling of her garment?

I'm not saying she is a dancer but the only class in all FF games that used CLOTH as a weapon was Dancer. FFT Dancers to be more exact: "A warrior who dances across the battlefield, garbed in colorful raiments".


I'd really like her to be a new class, but no one can say for sure.

And? Gladiators used to have daggers and it was removed from them to "make space" for the Ninja.

1.0 worked a bit differently since what weapon you have determines what skills you can use also. THM and CNJ can still use shields you know.

Having played through the Palace of the Dead as a Monk and seen what all the Monk can do in the upper levels, I'm going to have to start leaning to the side of the Lady in Red (LoRe if we abbreviate it) simply being another Monk in the story after all.

However, I am still holding out hope that SE will, someday, make the Dancer a playable job. The speculation was fun, but now I'm eager to hear more about the Red Mage ♥.

It's still only one move lost in a flurry of punches (Which DNC hardly do, apart from a very poor skill in FFXI) and kicks (Which DNC never did).

Really wondering how long the devs are going to drag out the tease for the jobs. We got "Confirmation" of Red Mage at the NA Fan Fest. Will we see a full reveal and details at the European? More teasing? Will others be teased in similarly blatant ways? Will we have to wait all the way till Japan's Fan Fest for concrete details?

I only really started following the minute details of the game's development just before Heavensward's launch, so I'm totally unaware how they laid things out back then. Anyone with that experience want to weigh in?

Oh, Japan is before Europe? Hadn't double checked the dates and for whatever reason I thought Japan was last, and EU was next.
