I've had half a dozen bards in Mentor Roulette the past couple days who refused to use WM. In some cases there were two in one light party.

In all of those cases, the bards were outputting DPS so low that they wouldn't beat enrage on T7 with those numbers. When asked why they weren't using it, the responses varied from no response at all to "I don't like cast bars" to, in the case of one bard, full time use of Ballad.

I guess what they do like is wilfully wasting time with their 40+ minute dungeon runs. >.>
I get it if they don't have it for Dusk Vigil or even Sohm Al, but the bards I had, I met in instances like Vault, and lv60 dungeons.

i don't really understand the idea of people getting jealous over lewd macros? like sure, it's cringe as heck but... jealousy?

Its not jealousy if that’s directed to me its more of slight annoyance. Hes not interested in her and she purposely use that raise macro to him when I'm around and constantly try to make a pass at him.

Tried SOLO PoD 11-20 last night as CNJ. 11-19 smooth, done on 20th. DPS was too low, my MP dried, the boss went violent. I know team play is much more efficient, but staying alone is of great fun sometimes.

Got Gubal Normal for Leveling Roulette, with a fresh Ninja as the one new to the instance. Paladin makes the same kind of pulls you'd see in Gubal Hard. White Mage is struggling a little, even with Hallowed and Clemency spam (+ chat macro for both). On the second pull (ending with 4 books and the golem), we wipe. Paladin laughs, then proceeds to make the same pull again. I adjust to singling out mobs over AoE to keep from wiping again. On the first boss, WHM eats most of the AoEs, NIN dies to being too slow to run to the other side, and I'm popping Warden's Paean every time it's up on the WHM since the frostbite is almost eating her alive. After a rather lengthy fight, PLD proceeds to pull the two gremlins, the book, and the pack with the sprite. More struggling on WHM's part but we knock out everything with everyone mostly alive. The next pulls are standard, walled-off pulls, so no issues there. Byblos goes down okay. Then we have more fun pulls: imps + skatene and vodorigas. PLD calls for Bard LB and I oblige. We knock out the dullahan guard, then the last pull: dullahan + 2 speedreaders + skatene + book + 2 vodorigas. Cue wipe. At least the next time we have less mobs.

Final boss, there's 0 coordination (or even an attempt at mind-reading) going on, meaning we spawn multiple adds toward the end of the fight with vulnerability orb placement in bad spots. Wipe. WHM then decides to coordinate the add spawning phases a bit, but as I show up the PLD in say chat makes the snide remark of "this healer though". 2nd attempt and we clear.

Lv60 roulette, as whm, 1 minute in progress, I sigh and go in anyways expecting it to be something tedious like ARF or Neverreap. Nope, it's Sohr Khai, and there's no tank. We decide to go anyways, since we have a smn and they whipped out titan-egi. On trash, aggro is pretty much split between the chicken nugget, the blm, and myself. On bosses though chicken nugget usually dies midway because the bosses hit the poor thing really hard and I'm used to dpsing a lot.

Get to last boss, still no tank has joined us, so we send chicken nugget in, and this time I go in heal-only mode, determined to ensure our pseudo-tank lives to the very end. Chicken nugget fought valiantly but ultimately perished as it went out of healing range after Hraesvelgr destroyed some of the islands and I was too late jumping closer. Luckily the blm proved to be a sturdier tank (at the cost of his casts, no doubt) so we cleared. I feel bad for the smn and blm, though.

You shouldn't feel bad at all. Most people would've either left the duty or vote abandon. Instead, you guys persevered. That derserves a pat on the back!

Also, now I'm going to see titan as a chicken nugget all the time lol

Probably like my friend who has a 60 rogue and archer with Lore gear. Yes, rogue and archer not ninja and bard...

I too now see Titan-egi as a chicken nugget. That story made me laugh, not often you see him tank a dungeon
