Annoying yes (that style of macro is extremely overdone). Best thing is to just let those go... Not like they're gonna act on it, and they usually get the laugh we're after. Things are only offensive as you make them.
had a bard with us in Xephatol. Last boss took 7 minutes to fight. He summoned Garuda 5 times....5 times. The Bard's DPS was 299....which is pretty much auto attack.
While I was attacking the boss, i kept my eye on the bard. He would round around in circles for about 10 seconds on autoattack...then pop some random in non rotation attack action...and proceeded to run around in circles again.
Honestly, he was like this throughout the entire dungeon.
At the last boss, it was just so bad, by the 5th summon, me, tank, and whm just started to "LOL."
White mage uttered "this bard...DPS 299 im 880."
No one wiped...the dungeon is so easy anyone can be carried through it...it was frustrating that it took almost 50 minutes when its usually 20 minutes.

I know the feeling. Ran the full party hest with my old FC, and our tank's (PLD) macros are all lewd. Which didn't bother me at first until she later raised my fiance irl cuz we were all goofing and I refused to raise him. "<target> I will shower you with my love juice".Had something maybe similar the other day in Alexander, a healer with a raise macro like this: "Come on -player name- get up, I wanna make sweet love to you". I'm not a jelous woman, but it did cringe on me when he casted it on my bf (we both got same last name), found it rather inappropiate. I think there's a limit on what's funny and what can be offensive/annoying.
We got the same last name and open about our relation online.
PS. it was a month ago. Also I cleaned up the word she used for love juice.

Kinda reminds me of my Berserk macro. I used to not have one, but then I got sick of never getting pacification removed whenever I used it, especially at key moments where I need to pick up aggro (mostly on Bismark Ex when the dragons come). So I added one. It used to be "Berserk ending in 3 seconds..." then "Please Pacify me". Then we all laughed when a friend pointed out to me that I wasn't paying attention and wrote pacify instead of "cleanse". So then I changed it and it was "Please cleanse me"... to which we all then said, "oh god, that sounds way worse!!".
So now it's "Please cleanse me baby ;D". It was only supposed to be a joke with my friends.... but I keep forgetting to change it back, so it's constantly being used in dungeon runs... I can only imagine all the head shaking from my PUG's.
Don't worry. I'll spam cure the crap out of you with my Paladin.

Astros are starting to confused me. In A9 I tend to run out of TP on my DRG and sometimes have invig still 6s from CD. Last 2 runs an AST insisted on feeding us AOE arrows and burning the Spires to do so...
Satisfying eh?
Last Xelphatol run for me, longest run I've seen yet (about 18 minutes I think). Other DPS, "This must be record time!" xD.

i don't really understand the idea of people getting jealous over lewd macros? like sure, it's cringe as heck but... jealousy?
insecurity is a powerful force, i guess
Trying again to clear A11S.
Went with another group for "clear objective".
We failed on Lapis Lazuli phase TWICE due to overlapping.
And one Stupid Hawk Blaster, people continued to overlap. We abandoned with about 20 minutes left.
Found another group. Things were going very well. DPS was very high. I am using Supra-max dex potions HQ after I see everyone is performing well.
A couple of deaths here and there, but we got the boss to 3%!
We try again, and get 1%! So, we really believe we can do it.
So everyone is putting out their best DPS. We are moving so fast. And then we skip the second green orb phase.
I think so myself: "Heh, I've seen this before in a previous group!! I know what is going to happen! The MT is in the middle of the room, so the boss is going to cleave the middle. So I'm going to stay at the north!"
I see the boss preparing Laser X Sword aiming at the center of the room.
The other people run to the center of the room.
"Uh oh. They didn't notice we skipped the green orb phase. They are all going to die!".
I thought...
So, at the last second, the MT and ST run back north, where I am, and the boss is STILL facing the center of the room.
When the cast ends, the boss spins 180 degrees and hits both tanks and me. I die, they revive me quickly. But it was too late.
We finished with 1%...again.
I totally didn't expect the boss to spin 180 degrees like that! But it was still my mistake. I feel so badly. Now I really expected to clear it tonight, but I failed again.
Now my IL is high enough to use Raid Finder, so hopefully I can find good group in raid finder.
Just kind of venting my frustration...with myself >_<
