I had a pretty weird run today. I decided to do leveling roulette on my Bard. Ended up getting Quarn and about half way through the tank decided to freak out on me for not using WM..at level 37.

I had someone complain at me and an FC mate for not using Chaos Thrust in Qarn once. I was just like "Yes. We are level 36 DRGs. Let's use a lvl 50 skill that we haven't even learned yet! You know, aside from the fact that we are synced down and wouldn't be able to use it anyways! "


On a more positive note, was helping a friend with ST and WoD so he can get the last aether oil for his hyperconductive WAR weapon. Had an awesome party in there. Had the same co-healer in WoD (we were both on AST this time), and we coordinated the use of our AOE Balances/Arrows perfectly. The DRK in our alliance was pretty awesome, and did an amazing job, and the DPS were great. Everyone was really nice, and we had no wipes. So smooth. Wish more runs were like that. Props to all of those people in there!

And I'm really sorry I DC'd in the middle of Cloud of Darkness and made us lose our LB. :< Been having a lot of 90006s lately, and it's really frustrating. Probably doesn't help that PSN is being wonky again, and with the DDOS on Dyne on the east coast...I'm probably being affected by that. So I'm sorry again guys.:<

Trial roulette on AST, I got Nidhogg with four black mages. I almost went crazy when I was looking forward to all these Fire IVs burning the old dragon to death, drew and threw balances and arrows like there's no tomorrow, healed like mad because the poor scholar seemed pretty overwhelmed by all the healing he had to do (he never healed Nidhogg before), picked dead BLMs up and sang songs about every step you take being one step on somebody's Ley Lines, Fire IVs flying everywhere and the destruction of the world. I guess my party mates thought I'm insane or something like that (specially as I kept referring to Fire IV as "Feuka", which is the German name of the spell... even my French friend calls it like this) xD but my inner BLM and I really had a lot of fun despite the BLMs being... well... one of them was a clueless firsttimer, the second one was a movement dyslexic who recieved minimum ten raises during the entire duty, the third didn't use Enochian and the fourth used Flare as part of their lv60 rotation :O We needed three or four tries to beat Nidhogg, the first wipe even happened because we failed the DPS check. With four black mages. Yet, I really enjoyed the run although it was, on an objective view, pretty awful.

It is said the corpses of BLMs who die from ignorance (of oneself's or others') can overlap the server three times...I was once among these corpses while doing my MSQ, and I can infer that as versions update, there'll be more chances to join the corpses again and again.
This is called growing up, although some stopped halfway, some never accomplished.
After all no corpses, no crops.

Been running Sophia EX a lot in raid finder, and it's generally been smooth-- out of 30~40 runs, most were oneshots, a few had a wipe or two, and maybe 5 of them were so bad that they were vote abandoned.

Today, though... wow. I've struggled through 4 runs and all of them were terrible. People constantly eating thunder 2 and 3... popping b4b during cintamani even though they have 2 or 3 stacks + weakness... knocked off by aero 3 or gnosis... falling off from the tilts... Failed tank swaps... during all these runs, each wipe, everyone died at least twice except for myself and my static's drg that I usually queue with.

The last run, after 2 grueling wipes (the first from hitting enrage), my co-healer dc'd early on, and I somehow managed to solo heal the fight despite people constantly eating vuln stacks and one of the tanks falling off.

All I want is one pedal from A11. Apparently, that is too much to ask for, because the one time I have managed to clear it this week so far, it didn't even drop.

The rest of the time, we keep wiping to final phase mechanics for reasons I honestly cannot fathom, because it feels like one big blur set to the soundtrack that is the epitome of my sanity slipping softly away.

Sometimes I get hit by Super Hawk Blaster, whatever that is, and I don't get healed. Or by a Claster, which I couldn't avoid in time. Or, best of all, getting marked with Prey, receiving no shields, and dying despite my best efforts to do what I can with Manaward/wall. I sprint and I dodge and I burn, but all my efforts are simply in vain. Though we may skip all the phases we want, it makes no difference. Forward and back ad infinitum. ;_;

You seem to forgot that pedals don't drop from A11 ^^ (only lens, cranks and springs drop there)
They drop from A9 and 10

In a true sense I love A11 but hate it because Duty finder just makes it so damn difficult..lol mainly that prey healer check. It's a love hate relationship, either we wiped at 30% or some people die in the last 5% and we still clear.

I goofed on that sentence and BLARGH a million times to post limits. Really SE? But no that line about not wanting to do their job was talking about the bads they run into.. not the healers themselves. Again I goofed and thanks to limits I wasn't able to correct or explain myself until a day later. :/ Only SE will make you grind and cap on a forum in real life and not bat an eye to why that's a problem.
