And, I mean, when you sign up you get a very long and detailed explanation of the art and it's origins already...Well, the areas where the guilds are located are detailed in the section on each city, and the guild leaders all get write ups as well, and between the two some background info and origins of each Class is present. So it's not like there's nothing, they just don't get their own special multi-page section.

I would have loved to learn more about how Amdapori WHM had magic that "alter the very fabric of existence." It's now known is that were active aggressors in the war to the point where they subjugated other cities, too. But other than advanced golem ala Balipu, not much else
How old are Kan-E-Senna? I think i calculated it to be at least 50 years old.

Zurvan's beast tribes are centaurs. I wonder if they're related to the centaurs we fight in PotD and Gubal? If so, I do find it interesting how Sephirot's and Zurvan's tribes are in PotD
Those Centaurs appear to be mechanical; in the Antitower they are around other mechanized guardians and frozen on pedestals before we reactivate them (I don't remember any in Gubal...), PoTD...IDK really, there's things in there that don't really make sense anyway
i'm tempted to get that 200 GBP buy it now book on ebay

I was thinking about buying it as well, but decided against it. I think I'll ask a friend to buy it for me and then send it over (of course I'd pay them back. Might even pay them enough so they could buy a book of their own). Much cheaper that way.
I based my assumption on her age by "1542 --- Toto-Rak sealed by Elder Seedseer." link. Well either that is approx 35 years ago, and I thought it was Kan-E-Senna who did it. But if she is 28 then it cannot be her sealing Toto-rak. Else she won't tell her true age :P

I just want to add my small slice of fanon here - because the Encyclopedia Eorzea contains information that by all rights should be extremely exclusive knowledge (the existence of the primal Phoenix, the true origin of the Void, etc.) but is also a towering work of scholarship that must have taken an immense amount of time to compile, there can really only be one author - Rammbroes Zasertylsyn, who as a founding member of the Circle of Knowing would be party to such secrets but as now a member of the Sons of Saint Coinach would have the time to actually write it all up.
The book was probably meant for publication exclusively within Sharlayan, copies were not meant to make their way to Eorzea itself.
