Um, if you're refering to WoD, they had one patch and then a YEAR without content. This doesn't apply to FF14 at all. If 3.2 was the last patch, i'd agree, but this is not the case.A 4th Residential Area to be added. Where? "Sorry, can't tell ya." This was in the reddit post. Does this mean Ishgard housing that disappeared from 3.4 to be dead?
Next 16 weeks (not 3 months) from 3.4 would probably be 3.5 that puts it right at the start of January. Means June for summer is 20 weeks at the earliest, that is at least 5 months between a content update. Didn't another game get killed for that kind of patch cycle?
Window of pop timer, not zerg fest. As in 72 hours between pop window times. This Relic thing is sounding like a ftp type of treadmill, ala Neverwinter refining.
Sure, there's this promised pot of gold at the end of the road.
But in actuality the road is littered with roadblocks, stalling mechanics, extended cooldown timers, meaning that it's completely mythical for people who actually have a work/social life outside the game.
I hope I'm reading this wrong with the 72hr zerg fest, slight chance of getting something if you can actually get in to do it, then rinse and repeat groundhog days for weeks and weeks and weeks - sounds fun......
Could be okay... but could be the worst thing they could add. Depends if they would make them FATE-like similar to Odin and Behemoth. If they are just single party claims that's a problem and would lead the the monopolization of said NM by a very small select few FCs and promote claim bots further to compete for claims like in FFXI.
MNK has plenty of blades for weapons. To test your abilities? You don't have to fight the same class to train. Besides if you pause it looks like she has a blade. You can see the slashing. It similar to the image of does on the please look forward to it!
Just feels dncer to me. But If you want to say its a monk thats your opinion and I respect that. I just don't know why the wouldn't say they are both monks.
Besides it kind of looks like while he is focusing she kind of jumps him. and they go into a playful bout.

And personally I applaud them for caring enough about their own vision that they choose not to deviate just to pander to some specific Western demographic; a demographic which willingly subscribed to a franchise notable for it's inherently pretty and cute aesthetic I might add. Because some people want to see it added, it's SE's fault that they don't feel it's appropriate or appealing enough? This is honestly one of those things where I feel the consumers are "not allowed" to complain and just accept the fact that the Developers' visions do match up exactly with your idea of "If they want it, then add it. Definitely add it".I'd like to point out that my annoyance is aimed at the "because Japan don't like them" and not the fact there's not an "ugly" race being added.
And as for the "ugly" being played, I think the most revolting and silly thing gets played quite a lot, and that is male Au Ra, so people will play ugly things mostly from a male characters side. Not that I give a damn about ugly or otherwise races being added, I am eternally staying Miqo'te.
I agree 100% with you.
Let me put it in a way to get away from the misconception that I care about them not adding a ugly race - The part where "because Japan don't want it" is THE part that gets me, because as usual it just reminds me of how often we are overlooked in favour of them; which is absolutely fine, that's the audience they can directly communicate with whereas we just have to hope our requests get through at the behest of a forum CM. Seeing something being requested by the western fanbase for months and not even be acknowledged, just to go on the Japanese section and see a request from a Japanese player asking the same exact thing get a dev response with "oh, you'd like that? we never knew - good idea but let's see as many likes as possible to judge" reinforces the notion that we barely have requests or anything passed on... and of how much that does, is ignored?
So, again, seeing that "because Japan doesn't like it" line kind of makes me reflect on that again. Whether it is an actual precise translation of what was said I don't know, but it's included in the OP and such resulted in my reply to that one guy/gal.
As much as I am looking forward to an expanded inventory, all of these are very true. To really solve the problem we need to tackle the issue from both sides.More inventory will be great. But doesn't it sound like a wet blanket, There is uncertainty in how this will be implemented due to the server needs. Isn't that what we have heard since the end of 2.0 Instead of trying to make more inventory space wouldn't better management of items seem more reasonable. With the PS3 going away shouldn't wardrobe type things everyone keeps telling me how awesome in other games be more reasonable. Also do we need 5 types of blood and all the different types of sand streamlining mats and recipes all the way up to 60 would go a long way.
But yeah, with dropping PS3 support, this is the PERFECT opportunity to revamp systems like the Glamour system into something more on par with other games.
"Even though we are currently not expanding the inventory just yet to test server stability, we are allowing players to rent up to 16 retainers! Enjoy!"As much as I am looking forward to an expanded inventory, all of these are very true. To really solve the problem we need to tackle the issue from both sides.

Oh god. Stop giving me nightmares. XDD
Why does "non-cute" automatically translate to "ugly" to you?
I too would prefer expanded creation options over a new race, though. I just think the excuse SE gave was silly and a bit insulting.
So much this.
I hope they speed things up again, even if it be subtly, and less pauses between melee animations. *attack* *stop* *attack* *stop* *attack* is awkward looking.
