I hope the animations and general feel of combat is smoother in Stormblood, because it just feels a bit weak compared to other MMOs at the moment.

Haha I thought it was funny. Guy in audience asked how she fights with ribbons and they cut him off and go to someone else.
It's been hinted that Yda isn't exactly who she is saying she is. Papalymo also knows stuff about her, too, that he doesn't share for reasons as well as there being that whole being found in the Shroud thing.
Just saying, don't be surprised if she wipes them tattoos off and Papalymo reveals who she really is (totally an Ala Mhigan princess or high maiden of the Fists of Rhalgr... possibly daughter of the master of the temple).
Have they discussed skill pruning and/or consolidation for 4.0?
Does anyone have a picture of the 2 "new job" silhouettes?
Yes. They confirmed it will happen, but didn't specify any skills. Likely candidates are Featherfoot, Feint and etc.
They will almost certainly follow the same format they did leading up to Heavensward. Therefore, we'll have 3.5 in very early January and 3.55 sometime in April. Unlike usual .5 updates, this will be more substantial (i.e 2.55)A 4th Residential Area to be added. Where? "Sorry, can't tell ya." This was in the reddit post. Does this mean Ishgard housing that disappeared from 3.4 to be dead?
Next 16 weeks (not 3 months) from 3.4 would probably be 3.5 that puts it right at the start of January. Means June for summer is 20 weeks at the earliest, that is at least 5 months between a Major content update. Didn't another game get killed for that kind of patch cycle?
More inventory will be great. But doesn't it sound like a wet blanket, There is uncertainty in how this will be implemented due to the server needs. Isn't that what we have heard since the end of 2.0 Instead of trying to make more inventory space wouldn't better management of items seem more reasonable. With the PS3 going away shouldn't wardrobe type things everyone keeps telling me how awesome in other games be more reasonable. Also do we need 5 types of blood and all the different types of sand streamlining mats and recipes all the way up to 60 would go a long way.

No "job" silhouettes to me, they look like they are just 2 hyurs in starting gear.
since they are redesigning skills, who knowsOther than the costume, I don't think anything in the CS screams Dancer. When they start their battle, she takes the same stance as the WoL MNK. They trade blow for blow, perfectly countering each other. At 1:22 the sound effect indicates that she did Howling Fist before the WoL (whose hand is surrounded by wind) throws a punch that does the exact same sound effect. The only thing the trailer indicates to me is that the WoL is a terrible MNK. He uses Fists of Wind at the end and she uses Fists of Fire like a good MNK.
aside from a few skills, their fight is nothing like in-game mnk, though; it's just a flashy teaser.
