To be fair, arcanist failed because it split into a healer and a dps, so it had to have skills for both (and balancing the stat points was a bit of a pain). Should MNK and DNC both be DPS, that would help. The skill system revamp...might also help? I'm not sure how it works.

This and they seem to be trying to distance themselves as far as possible from the class system as a whole. Especially considering that Heavensward jobs didn't even have classes, I highly doubt Stormsblood jobs will suddenly have base classes again.

Besides just from how she moves, and how her hands are in the cutscenes - how fluid her movements. It screams dancer to me.

uh, the entire theme of the expansion is centered around ala mhigo, which is kingdom of monks.
also as you can see from other posts, that's probably Yda...who is MNK, not DNC.
martial arts is like a dance, and she clearly does a martial arts pose, before attacking.
why would derplander train as a mnk, and fight a dnc, in a very typical martial arts scene??

Just feels dncer to me. But If you want to say its a monk thats your opinion and I respect that. I just don't know why the wouldn't say they are both monks.

Besides it kind of looks like while he is focusing she kind of jumps him. and they go into a playful bout.

MNK has plenty of blades for weapons.

I hope those were just 2 monks fighting too, the only thing that felt like DNC to me about her were the clothes. Everything else though, felt 100% MNK. I hope this is how it works out too, since there's plenty of jobs they could be adding that would be way cooler than frekin DNC. Yes, I could be wrong of course but this is just the way I think and hope it'll work out. As far as new races, I agree with other people's stance that instead of a new race, they could expand upon the limited options we currently have.

Next 16 weeks (not 3 months) from 3.4 would probably be 3.5 that puts it right at the start of January. Means June for summer is 20 weeks at the earliest, that is at least 5 months between a Major content update. Didn't another game get killed for that kind of patch cycle?


More inventory will be great. But doesn't it sound like a wet blanket, There is uncertainty in how this will be implemented due to the server needs. Isn't that what we have heard since the end of 2.0 Instead of trying to make more inventory space wouldn't better management of items seem more reasonable. With the PS3 going away shouldn't wardrobe type things everyone keeps telling me how awesome in other games be more reasonable. Also do we need 5 types of blood and all the different types of sand streamlining mats and recipes all the way up to 60 would go a long way.
