This is a pretty big deal. The game's budget has been tripled. Given the apparent problems due to a lack of funding for Yoshi's team this may mark a huge change of direction for the game.

I'm assuming that money is also intended to cover the patch cycle? I wonder what they're planning to spend it on.

Considering how Yoshie-P looked in some of the live letters during HW's development, the extra 20 million will probably be spent on coffee

Yoshie-P did say in an interview that he has some kind of feature in mind that no MMO had before, but I doubt that alone requires this much. Hopefully we will know more in 3 hours.
