My bad then. I guess instead of never, I will rephrase and say "recently". DPS queues in WoW are generally shorter than DPS queues in FFXIV, but not significantly so. To get into expert roulette in FFXIV in 3.4 takes ~14 minutes. To get into a heroic random in WoW in 7.0 takes ~8 minutes.

Well they are in the beginning launch of a new class which shifts things. DRKs release even had DPS being the adventurer in need lol. Do you remember what things were like in the middle of last expansion? I played during WoW's peak subscriber time, and I wasn't exaggerating how long DPS queues were. Tanks would even sell their presence to run with on my server.

Not sure how much longer I'll keep this going. I fear that I may hit my daily forum cap (ugh).

Anyway, I do remember last expansion. My experiences are mostly talking about now, but I was also DPS queuing for heroic dungeons a few months ago (tail end of WoD, ~March to Present) and had similar experiences.

I also liked that you can line up queues. For example, queue up LFR for 5 different entries, and as soon as your first LFR is done, your queue is instantly up on the next one. That was pretty cool. Granted, DPS on LFR did take quite awhile (20-30 minutes, sometimes a bit more).

Been doing WT on healer and most of my queue times for older content has been 20-30 minutes (i.e. T1, A7, A3, Garuda EX etc.)
