idk id much rather have cure replaced with something else for cross class tbh, we got physic as cross class and no healers need cure at all, which are the only jobs to need cnj besides pld, who has clemency now.Monk: Greased lightning applying a free sprint effect, touch of death and haymaker to be abilities with cooldowns off global, haymaker should also proc when blocking or parrying an attack.
Warrior: berserk and thrill of battle should be cross class abilities.
Paladin: should get cure and stoneskin innately. switch cnj sub for pgl. shield swipe should be a trait that has a chance to deal dmg to attacker on block.
Can also just combine the two... When over 12y away from the target, the ability slot swaps to Wide Volley, increasing maximum range to 25y and giving it a new animation, but at the cost of 10 additional TP.
Heehee, it's completely unused in player rotations in general anyway, and it's really useful when your tank dies and the twenty-something mobs they had start chasing you. And, its animation is really cool too, but it ends up just sitting completely unused in most content. They would just need to rework the skill a bit, so it's acceptable.
Totes... With Shadowbind: it was really useful against single enemy units before they seriously nerfed its single target PvE utility. And, swift-song is just irritating because you have to recast it every time you're attacked, and it would be so nice if it was just recasted after the encounter automatically.Exactly, plus does any bard really ever uses Shadowbind outside of PvP? Migth as well just put this skill as a PvP skill and give use Farshot instead.
Another useless bard skill is Swiftsong, yeah use it in dungeon o/ but you still gonna have to wait for your tank sinceh e lose the song once he gets any mobs aggro. Yeah, use it in the open world area o/ oh wait, just take your mount or sprint you'll go way faster.
That's three totally useless PvE skills that should be reworked.

Those cross classes are ridiculous.. MRD/WAR has both of those because that's their theme, WAR is the huge hp pool/low defensive CD tank, the reactionary self healing tank that does a ton of dps, because lorewise they're akin to raging beasts. Besides I don't think you understand how insanely overpowered that would be on a paladin, tank-busters wouldn't apply to us anymore if we could get a warriors health pool with our defensive cooldowns
Shield Swipe does do damage on a block though? I've seen shield swipe crit for 1k before for me.
BRD: - WM charge sound, the "hisssss" sound is driving me nuts, get rid of it SE!
- swiftsong? The song that increase move speed, remove it or make it more usefull.
- heavy shot animation look ackward for me, your character just bend his/her back too much
Maybe talent system like typical mmorpg standard? FF14 probably the only mmo where i see in endgame everyone feel look and play the same
Non restricted glamour? I want my BRD to dress in heavy armor =/
I wonder if we ever get "swimming" section? all that apartment/house and the sailorsuit and bikini is wasted without swimming lol , this game remind me of SWTOR where they cant put "swimming" because engine techinal problem.
Yeah. I actually did that after i made my post. I still am against macro usage, but this one is mostly harmless even though it does cast wide volly sometimes when it shouldn't.
Diverse ways to play every job class instead of a cookie cutter ST and AoE rotation.

A rework of the stat system so it is more then just Attack Power. Make physical and elemental resistances matter.
All Freeze needs IMO is a DoT or to be a DoT field, and it will instantly become usable again.I really hope they prune the skills in such a way that we don't have useless skills anymore. I like to play black mage and these useless skills bother me so much. A good example of this is freeze. It has too long of a cast time and being ground targeted is only a hinderance, it is an aoe utility skill that has no place in aoe rotation nor is it utilised almost anywhere. Then there are the thunder spells. Change the thunder spells so we actually use them in our rotation. Currently only thunder 1 is used as a filler spell and thunder spells are largely irrelevant.
Trying melee class and i could use this function.
When you use a skill that require to be "flank" or "rear", i wish they have a notification or a sign that show you are indeed attacking from flank or rear, maybe a different damage number color? Or a word "rear" or "flank" beside the damage number? Or a sound effect?
I play with average internet speed and with flying numbers off, so when i attack someone from flank, iam not even sure if it really flank or not. A small notice like above could really help a lot
