My mother told me I had a chameleon soul, no moral compass pointing due north, no fixed personality; just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean...
It isn't. I've seen tanks and healers fail to confirm plenty of times as well.
I don't know what I do differently than others, but when queuing on my smn, it takes less than 5 minutes. Longest I waited was 7 minutes for satasha on my alt (lancer) since that was the only dungeon I had unlocked to that time lol. To be honest, my queue times as tank/heals is mostly longer than as dps and it's always the 2nd healer that withdraws from the duty.....
As main DPS,this is the truth.Say you have an hour on your hand, which is enough to run a dungeon, so you queue up and then... the queue takes ages. You're nervously keeping an eye on the clock, maybe begin to get ready for work and when the queue finally pops you have to choose if you can make a dungeon before work or not.

So hey, I wrote a story the other day about DPS queues. I walked from Idyllshire to Outer La Noscea over the course of seven and a half hours waiting for Odin queues, and got six total. And that was prompted by an Odin queue the day before I did that being 219 minutes long. Close to four hours.
So yeah that's why some people miss queue windows in DPS.

There's a penalty if you withdraw three times, so I doubt it is intentional for the most part. DPS are almost always the last to commence their queues because they are away so often while waiting. More often than not, they miss the queue while doing something else. It also almost always repops instantly when this happens since there is usually another DPS waiting for their turn to pop up.
All other possibilities are likely rare occurrences, but when combined throughout the day can it make it seem like something is up with the DPS in queues. But I assure you, they are not fans of missing them.![]()
I wonder this too, it drives me mad. It's the worst with the 24 man instances. Every single time 14/15 over and over. Do they just queue up then lob their controller out the window?
I have the same problem sometimes. I don't understand the ones that with draw the second the Que pops. Makes me wonder why they even queued in the first place.

I have been guilty of this a couple of times when on dps. I will start queuing for Syrcus Tower etc and then go do something else. Thirty mins later it pops and I have forgotten I am even in the queue for it and now busy with something else.
