A11 is worse from my experience
A11 is worse from my experience

OP I sympathise. I really wish I'd experienced some of the good luck I'm reading about in this thread. Tried A12 for the first time today, three separate DF groups, many, many wipes. Tanks and heals dying all over the place. This much wasted time is not my idea of fun gameplay.

I've only had maybe two vote abandons out of the couple dozen times I've run A12. Heck, one of the clears was 7-manned because one person AFKed for the whole fight. Which, if a DF group can 7-man A12 before Alex even announces his enrage, I think it's just fine.
I didn't experienced that at all. Every DF group I ran the turns with (A9-12) went very smoothly and that's very surprising to me, knowing how badly midas and wc have been. Maybe it's the data center or the time, I did see a slight performance drop as I was running it on sunday because I was that bored, compared when running it right after reset. But in all it wasn't that bad and we didn't wipe once. Did we have dead healers/dps/tanks? Yes we did and it happens, gotta love smn raise tho![]()
I would just suggest trying it on other days, maybe even right after weekly reset or form a pf group and see if that's less of a hassle for you.
In an 8-man you can bring a few of your own players to ensure things go smoothly. Bring the MT, one healer, and at least one DPS and you won't have to gamble.
Unlike Weeping City, which has a Savage-level price tag for weekly casual tokens that you can do very little about.

Just experienced one group who couldn't handle A12, didn't get item myself when we did run with FC-members so tried to get it before we start doing some more Sophia Ex..
Two warriors; saw 0 berserks during whole fight - Monk kept dashing straight into sacrament and died multiple times during fight, both healers running out of MP all the time.
Don't really feel like going back there before I can persuade some of FC members to ease it.

I've had a completely different experience. Mostly had one shots. Save for the first time, which was a two shot.
If you're a good healer you can carry pretty much any group through A12, just make sure to remind everyone of the important mechanics.
Recently returned player.
*sigh* Ok FINE. You people win. I'll say it.9 different groups, 9 different vote abandons (after 2-3 wipes each).
Every group so far has gotten past the tank Lb3 mechanic, but after that every group has wiped shortly after, constantly.
What happened to making content approachable for casual gamers? one person even asked if it was on savage ( he wasn't even joking).
Don't tell people you plan to make content more accessible then make content that isn't accessible.
Not even going to que for my 10th run, because I know in my head, it's just going to be another vote abandon.

i only ran creator in DF, and vote abandon maybe 2-3 times in total, between getting all the tokens for each floor, for 2 weeks.
the only way to make it more approachable to casuals, is to not have any mechanics...or someone will always complain it's to difficult.
i was even in a pt for aetherochemical whatever lv 60 dungeon, and wiped on last boss, until the 90min timer ran out.
this is the last floor of lv 60 RAID easy-mode, people should be able to handle such simple mechanics, at this point, or what have they been doing up until this point?

Welp seeing that this thread was made the devs are already discussing how to nerf it as we speak. 3.45 "please look forward to it."
