I believe the main issue is that negativity is louder than praise. People happy with the game don't come into the forums to say it often because they are content to play it.

I have to agree that this was very well said. I hadn't thought about it this way. I guess you could say this is true for all of the Internet.
Based on this statement, assuming people who are content don't voice, and people who is not content will voice. The the next question to ask is has the amount of complaints increased? And are the complaints justified?
