I also call BS on "leveiing other jobs", sure I have non-60 jobs, tons of players are max 60 on all, what's their "bonus reward" for doing that many FATEs for no exp? This event was an insult/disregard to players.

I started *on day one*, last 3 took *as long as entire event combined*, still didn't finish. Finally cleared USAp after roughly 7-8hrs of repeating 2 FATEs one after another, barely 15 of Noko's and *zero* Bliz. 20? Sure. But 30 is ridiculous.

Objectively unoriginal tedious "event". Plenty of others were better. FFXIII's was leagues ahead, plus actually fun unique FATEs.
FYI, I'm studying game design. This isn't good design. Have players find certain landmarks, seek out wild Yokai/weapons (actually learn about them), give something to DO, don't rehash old FATEs.
Whilst I won't disagree on the issue of tedium and poor design, 800 FATEs is actually higher than the average. I personally completed it with around 750 and most I farmed with were around the same. Barring outliers 800 FATEs is actually rather high.

I do think SE needs to change their reliance on RNG though. Whatever odds a drop has there will always be someone that simply never sees it. The game desperately needs a safety net that gradually increases drop rates the longer you go without see something. It would have no affect on the averages but would serve to prevent any extreme outliers.
