I could edit my post to say casual, but when i play, i play 16 hours a day, 7 days a week for a month. xD

I definitely agree with you, there needs to be incentive. Myself, I do try to do all the content because of first, the completionist in me, second the feeling that I want to challenge myself and improve as a player, and third, that feeling of "well what the heck do I use all this higher gear for if not to try content that requires it?"
