    It was never worth it. Even in a few weeks when the new step is added, you'll be able to get a Scripture weapon which will give you nearly identical dps to a min/max relic.

    A relic weapon doesn't require weekly capped currency.

    Lets see... A relic weapon AND tomes gear VS just a tomes weapon and no gear...

    How, exactly, it's not worth it? You are losing 1000 scripture worth of gear by not doing relic.
