FFXIV 2nd expansion: Viera-like race still a possibility?

Thats cause they refuse to redesign gear for wild body structures. So the animal ears and the horns on regular humans is as far as they are gonna go

Female Aura are female Hyur's with horns. Male Aura's are Elezens with horns. If adding a slight texture difference with a tail and horns/ears is all it takes than whats exactly wrong with Viera being placed in the game? Nothing, answering that now. People constantly say "Oh, SE won't do anything crazy, they'll just make it a hyur with ears, they shouldn't do it!" Then wtf is Aura doing so damn well!? If people want the Viera, give a better reason than spouting out your butts as to why they shouldn't be in the game. "They're an all female race, ha!" so was the cat race in FFXI and even in FFXIV original just had female Miqote and changed for a Realm Reborn. They'll change it, duh.

They arent even an all female race lol. It says right in the lore that males just live seperatly and are even more anti social than the women.

Kurogaea, Omnipotent technically wants the Viera in the game, but has conceded that a third Elezen clan with similar body proportions and facial options (or in their words "hot bodies and pretty faces") would be just as good. Au Ra (mostly females) are popular because they're cute, like the Miqo'te. While Viera would slightly deviate from this, they're technically 'elves' with rabbit ears... so just make them a third clan for the Elezen, sans the rabbit ears.

That would be fine i just want more diversity as long as we get pretty faces and hot bodies. Miqote wouldnt work as well cause the emotes are far too animated but i could accept the elezen emotes as long as the bodies arent disgusting like Elezens are

I mean i dont really care how they add them lol. As long as we have them. If they wanna do all the work of making a new race but doesnt wanna call them viera thats fine xD.

My biggest fear will be that they will add Viera, but instead of giving us the Ivalice version, we will get an Eorzea version which will be a Hyur with bunny ears. Viera is (next to Nu mou, but we all know that race is not seen as pretty, so it being added will be slim to none) my favourite race in the Final Fantasy Universe.

I realy do not want see Yoshi-P and crew to add some anime schoolgirl, kawaii waifu version of the fierce, strong and beautiful Viera that we all know and love.

Why go through the trouble of making a new body model and not have the LOOK WHAT WE MADE promotional hype of a new race? I feel like it'd take more effort to go down the list of what we have and start making 3rd options for everything instead of just making "bunny girl" and "bunny boy".

I think the third option came about as a sort of happy medium of giving us new options in the easiest way possible on the dev team.

I think the real distinction of Au Ra men is more in their faces. You can't get anything even slightly resembling some of those sharp features in the other races, even if you take the horns away.

I love Au Ra girls, but it's only because the crab claw horned face has the one of the prettiest smiles on her neutral face of any girls.... If only the horns didn't clip all the long hair options!

I really like the Highlander girls, too, but always found a disconnect with being these serious and hard-edged looking women with these bouncy, high energy emotes.

Viera are traditionally very feminine and very serious. I love animal traits on characters. I like playing taller avatars.

A Viera styled race would give me everything I want. That's why I'm so heavily requesting it.

But that's not actually true...male roegadyns could pick us up more than we could ever pick them up o.o
People are wrong when they judge female roegadyns, we are made for male roegadyns not for the scrawny male hyurs

A lot of people dont look at it from an rp standpoint. Just naturally most guys dont want a girl that can beat Heman in an arm wrestling contest.
