Don't give up on giving advice though, it's worth it when someone does appreciate it. But tbh i'd have stopped trying to help them once it became apparent they couldn't be bothered >.<

(also, the character limit doesn't apply if you edit your post, so you don't need to do 2 posts and I have a feeling there's a rule about naming and shaming so you may want to edit your 1st post to remove their character names)

They yelled at me because the MCH had cleared it before but its vary clear he hadn't payed attention to anything the game told him to do nor what players would do. I kept telling him the Gauss barrel did more damage and to put the comets to the edge of the arena for less damage. They just kept making fun of me and mocking me because they where all in the same FC. I looked at there profiles too and it didn't impress me with my 7 60's to there one or two.

Also I hope that fixes it.

Unfortunately if they were all in the same FC there's little you can do if they've decided they wont listen, also they will just back each others bad play style up... which would be fine if they only played with each other, but they need to remember there are other people playing this game who don't have to put up with their sh*t!

DD dungeon. I'm a mentor (but in crafting/gathering) and the Tank is a War Mentor. The WHM is still new (the Seed icon). The WHM was doing well, the tank was acting like he ruled the world. Tank's gear was also 16-19 levels too low

He was pulling three different sets of trash (which is great for a seasoned healer...but not a new healer). He would get angry when WHM couldn't catch up, he would always run away before WHM can even get protect up. He would run and start to fight by himself when none of us were even remotely near him. He would run through 3 sets of trash to pull the 4th set of trash hoping the other 3 sets would forget? I've ran over 2000 dungeons...I know how a fast run should be..this wasn't one of them

This tank was awful. At the end of the fight i told the healer please don't get discouraged and there are a few bad apples here and there.

If you have a flashy mentor symbol above your head, at least try to act like an adult. Don't belittle a new player.

Just got out of a weeping city run where alliance A decided to fight with each other in alliance chat. That went as well as you'd expect. Most of A was dead on the floor and still bickering with each other. My alliance and B both agreed that alliance A sucked :P

Just got Brayflox HM for my 50 roulette. Party was SMN (me), BRD, PLD, WHM. At first I thought "nice, this will be quick and easy" and then the tank starts pulling...one mob at a time. One mob and whatever would link with it. The WHM mentions that since we have a SMN and BRD we could probably do bigger pulls. Tank says, "I don't tank like that. Deal with it or leave." Ok... So we make our way through the first few pulls and then the tank just stops.


PLD: Hey SUM, focus on my mob.
Me: SUM?
PLD: Yeah, you. Quit stealing aggro and focus on my mob only.
Me: I'm a SMN, I dot everything. It's how the job is played lol.
BRD: Not today it isn't. Quit being a prick.
WHM: Are you guys f-ing serious?
PLD: You don't like it, leave.

At that point, the healer left. Almost immediately we got a replacement, an AST.

PLD: I don't know who you are, but you better not be in cleric's stance like the last healer we had.
AST: I beg your pardon?
BRD: You're a healer, act like one. Why do these dips--- healers think they're all DPS?
AST: That's really rude, you know.

At this point I'd had enough and left. Not sure if the PLD and BRD were trolling or serious, but I feel like I've gotten a taste of what it's like to be Selli in DF.

Today I learned at Steps of Faith that you cannot use the snares and climb the tower to get the dragonkiller at the same time. There is simply not enough time for the same person to do both successfully, even as a caster with sprint.

I got half the party killed. :/

Dear God I hope they were trolling, otherwise they could win prizes for some of the worst players I've ever heard of.
A Tank who can't keep aggro on a minimalist pull just because a DPS is using some AoE? At Level 50? That's pathetic.

I just remembered a weird duty. I don't remember how I got it but I was doing Halatali hard. Everything was fine until the first boss when I noticed the DD didn't know what to do mostly running out of the AOE to save themselves from damage and activating it too early. I simply asked them if they were trolling and they said they just hadn't run it in so long. During all this the healer responded with a "WHAT?!" then my second response the healer left in the middle of a pull.

No idea why he was offended I didn't point out anyone...

PoTD, I had the unfortunate fortune to meet a tank that thought tanking was to gather mobs and then once they were all gathered rather then tank them ran away to another room leaving the mobs there on the rest of the group...not to see him come back with a train of mobs and ran out again...I still am not too sure what happened in there...yeah we wipped of course...seriously...is true, PoTD has you meet some of the weirdest player around

Just... Omg. First really bad wiping city run. Wiped TWICE to Arachne (don't think anyone was up top...) half the party got "affeared" EVERY. TIME. Then wiped another two times on Forgall. Here's where I got really mad though. Only healed it like twice before but feeling ok about it, last runs we've not done worse than the other alliances, I'm ressing more than I'm being ressed at least lol and we've actually cleared it. Other healer this time appears to be blaming me in chat (or I'm just being too sensitive about it... But I don't think so). Why would a healer blame the other healer when we both spent so much time ressing dps who just stood in aoes and picked up every bloody debuff they could! Ugh. Vote abandon was rejected twice before going through as well... But, I suppose, most of all I kinda feel sorry for the guy who announced at the start he was streaming this on twitch...

Edit: actually what annoyed me most is that I'm kinda racing my bf to finish off the annoying anima weapon step with the seeds and shells and stuff, that run would have got me enough esos to finish the set...
