Decide to do a quick POTD late at night to get some quick exp. Turned out to be one of the best runs ive had so far in this game. To the people from Goblin that I had the pleasure of running POTD with. Thank you for making my night amazing. I seriously wish I could see you guys again ♥

I hate Neverreap. So, so very much.

Just got done with a run that took over a half hour. The Tank was a WAR with the glowy POTD Weapon, and mostly VA or Eso gear. They spent the vast majority of the dungeon in their DPS stance, just barely holding enmity at any given moment. That on its own is bearable, they were managing to maintain hate...but that they also always did the smallest possible pulls was just annoying.
We actually wiped to the final boss, since they apparently didn't know you could fall off...was playing SMN, so brought out Titan to try and manage things. But then the Healer...I don't know, stopped trying?
And then the other DPS was an alright geared BLM, who...never seemed to do very much damage.

Just frustrating runs like this suck, so very much. That it's in an already awful dungeon just makes it worse...

So I was running A8N for the last shaft that I need and had me as sch, with a main tank drk, pld, and sch co-healer. I don't remember what most of the dps were but there was no problem with them. We started the fight and it didn't take long for me to realize that neither tank was using cds. My co-healer and I were throwing as many lustrates, adlos, and fairies at the tanks as we could, but we were barely keeping up. And then during the add phase, the pld decided to go afk in the far corner of the room, leaving the monk as our second tank. That lasted until the monk got double rocket punched. Brute Justice then went on a rampage through the dps and healers and we wipe. Where the drk (remember him? The MT?) was during all this I have no idea. I decided that that was enough A8 for the day.

I've got told off for using a rage pom the other day in PotD, floor 36, having 3 rage getting dusty waiting for some fun.

Also, making such a big deal of it baffled me. Not only it killed all the fun I was having, but also it confused the heck out of me.

It sucks some people have to ruin something that can be lots of fun. I love going manti on a whole floor and totally agree with you, if you've got 3, might as well use one. They're not as much use on the last boss as they are on the floors anyway and way more fun. I had mostly good groups when I was getting my BRD weapon there, had a few iffy ones since i've been trying to get my WHM one though... Seems the longer content is out the more likely you are to run into people who either have no patience or just wanna mess with everyone else >.<

I think I legit ran in to the worst tank in the entire game doing a keeper of the lake dungeon.

Constantly lost group aggro, never used cooldowns, and most of all when we got to the first boss, they constantly ran around it in a circle, making sure all of the cleaves hit the rest of the party.

Sounds like they were messing with you :/ Loosing aggro and not using cooldowns is bad but everyone sees it often enough lol but spinning the boss sounds more like they were doing it on purpose. Especially if they didn't communicate with the group? Hope you reported them if they didn't apologise at least!

Ramuh HM as AST.

I ended up in the #2 spot for aggro just by casting Aspected Helios and Aspected Benefic, in Diurnal Sect, on the MT. The WHM landed at the #3 spot for aggro with Medica II and Regen.

#4 was the DRK OT.

#5 to #8 were the DPS. We wiped to Judgement Bolt because these DPS, who were in no way undergeared, didn't manage to kill a single add by the time it went off. I probably shouldn't have been surprised, but still.

Sohr Khai as PLD.

We wiped to the first boss after spending 7+ minutes fighting it. The WHM was the first to die because they ran out of MP. I did what I could with Clemency, but nope. The DRG refused to LB even after being asked multiple times. First time I've ever wiped to this boss due to a lack of DPS.

Before the server down I ran a leveling duty while wanting to get my Warrior to 60. I get Sohm Al with a MCH and Black mage. Nether of them knew how there class worked, The black mage kept getting out of her buffing circle and the MCH for most of the dungeon didn't have his Gauss barrel on. The few pull they didn't seem to know to attack the plant that kept placing down poison plants as Warrior I killed 2 on my own.(Also first wipe was to trash because the healer didn't mention he was out of MP until after the pull.)

First boss they kept attacking the bees and I didn't mind that but this is when I began noticing everyone faults including the healer being REALLY slow healing and more focused on DPSing he would wait until I hit about 5-10% HP before healing me. I had to tell them to attack the dragons on the next few pulls and on the second boss they had NO idea how to deal with the AOEs. the next set of pulls is when I went off and got the STFU message. Third boss we wiped because the Black mage can not deal at all with moving and the healer does not revive for a good while, I tell them how to deal with the comets (ignored).

This dungeon simply was too long and I felt my time wasted trying to help them...

Don't give up on giving advice though, it's worth it when someone does appreciate it. But tbh i'd have stopped trying to help them once it became apparent they couldn't be bothered >.<

(also, the character limit doesn't apply if you edit your post, so you don't need to do 2 posts and I have a feeling there's a rule about naming and shaming so you may want to edit your 1st post to remove their character names)
