RIP Diadem again

I also am having trouble seeing any casual players managing to find groups for the retuned Diadem when it's inferior.

First guess: Retuned Diadem will be connected to the relic. (I REALLY hope that's not the case).

Second guess: They put some kind of item in there that's needed for progression.

Third guess: It will be involved with that new Tails content or whatever it's called.
