Squadrons are a let down for now

GC Squadrons are a big disappointment at least for now.
Turns out they are exactly what many people predicted to be.
They are just ventures.
They state they have plans so you can use them in dungeons in future.
Well this feature was a big disappointment for now. I wish it was something new and unique.

What were you expecting to do anyway? Running Sastasha with a bunch of Lv 15-16 NPC?
Since you have to level them up in the first place, depending on the time that takes, they would've been more or less useless until properly leveled up.

I think it's okay to give us the roots of the system now, get used to it, get exp for the platoon, and then release the other stuff later. At least everyone will more or less be able to enjoy it the same way.

I was expecting something fun. This is just another venture system. We didn't really need one more. We had the retainers and the airship missions already. Adding a 3rd was a bit pointless. And we really don't know how far int he future we will be able to use them. Airships supposed to get more functionality in future but they still didn't. Sending an NPC into the void and wait for a timer is not fun. They could at least think something a bit more fun.

Subjectivity.
Some people like looking at spreadsheets in Football Manager, you know. Why can't people find "fun" having their own little platoon to manage and train?

Besides, if you don't find that "fun", just... don't play it? Others will enjoy it while you're waiting for the rest of that feature. It's fine, really.

You already answered your own question. If they stopped releasing content until it's complete - that would satisfy us.

What would have satisfied me is, if they are 100% that they are able to deliver a feature where we can take these squad members to dungeons. Right now its big if its comming, just like how Primal summoning was and other features that were supposed to be comming, but did not.

If Yoshi-P said that it was comming and they were honest about it, then I doubt anyone would complain about. Personaly, I am asking myself, what happens if they do not deliver the dungeon system? What would be the point of adding this squadrons feature? We already have retainers who do venture via a menu, airship who do a venture via a menu and now squadrions as a venture via a menu....

I reckon best thing would be for them (SE) to wait untill they have the (squad going to dungeon with you) feature working and then release this feature, because as it is right now, its another underwhelming feature. I know some players might feel offended, but for me and probably others, alot of the recent features (the new stuff) were underwhelming, they could have been awsome, but its like they add the bare minimum, which is a shame, since it could have been good content for the players.

There is nothing wrong with announcing anything, but what is the point if they are not going to deliver it? As for players complaining, isnt it normal to complain, if you dislike something? Its what this forum is for, to discuss, share ideas, suggest stuff to the developers and complain about features that they did not like, how else will the developers know what we like or dont like?

I realy hope they bring back those polls from the BETA, I think its time the players and the developers have a nice discussion about the recent stuff that has been added to this game.
