WoW Legion uses FFXI style for relics but FFXIV does not?

INORITE! It's all padding for the sake of padding. Kinda funny too. Considering Yoshida was all apologetic way back about the Atma grind and that he would never do something like that again. And then comes the Anima Crystal grind...which is the same damn thing.

No it's not the same damn thing.

The crystal grind this go around isn't bad for people leveling and the drop rate isn't all that bad. It's a far cry from pre-nerf ATMA. They can actually level an alternate role while working on relic. The weapon doesn't need to be equipped nor does one need to be on the role for which you are earning the relic which makes it pretty neat actually. Personally on my main I had/have enough zeta's so i could by pass that process but I was able to take advantage of it on an alt. It's like the complaints about Yokai but tons of people are leveling classes while doing the event and collecting medals.

I'm curious have you worked on relic? Do you have a zeta or the current relic and if so what stage are you on?

Tossed in my BLM Zeta in and completed my DRK anima. Using the "have you even made one?" excuse to justify your argument is weak.

And I remain disappointed I couldn't put Piety on it. Such customization.

Wasn't using it as an excuse. I was simply curious if you had done it. Thank you for your response. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and you are certainly entitled to yours.

And that's A okay. Problem players have though is eventually we toss it aside to the point I'm beginning to think it's just going to be push and pull between relic, crafted, and tomestone gear with current savage raid weapons always coming out on top.

But even then at some point a weapon does not stay with you. You throw them all out. And for some players in a Lore perspective feel that's horrible.
