Right, and I also dont agree with that. They used to sell them from a vendor in the game, to people that had already taken part in the event. They no longer do that because they could milk it from the cash shop.

They are NOT doing away with veteran rewards. Just wait it out like EVERYONE else, and you will get the items. How's that for equality? You get to get the items by doing the EXACT SAME THING AS EVERYONE ELSE who got the items.

Well, technically it does - you're certainly entitled to ask, anyway, as long as it isn't beyond the realm of reason. And 3 year old items vet players hardly touch doesn't seem unreasonable to me. They've had 3 years of "exclusivity", 1.0 has been dead a long time and as I said in a previous post, I find it childish how legacy players still expect preferential treatment.

I not argue veteran rewards. I say unfair to minion/mount collectors can never get because of privileged few only getting. I gladly pay cash shop to have "privilege" of having all mount.

Legacy players (I'm not one of them btw, I came to this game with the ARR beta) were PROMISED to have some special items/mounts and they got them because they stayed with this game when it was at its worst, why do you want SE to break such a promise? To fullfill your childish needs to have everything (and right now, please!)? People would be rightfully mad if they'd break such a promise.

I've been playing this game for over 3 years straight - how is someone whos playing for 2 months "equal" to me when it comes to spendings on this game?

And, in case you havent noticed yet: You need the gear to play this game. They need to "hand" out i240 so people can catch up for the next raid tier - its also called "progression" and something we're having in place since Sycrus Tower. Making gear obtaineble by having more than option is a good thing for both raiders and non-raiders. Its not as if we could buy the A4S-mount or the faust-minion - and since you're asking for MOUNTS maybe you should compare them to mounts not to gear that gets outdated and is therefor easier to obtain.

(also, you might want to look into the old ARR beast tribes in case you arent already - the Slyphs will give you a gobbue mount and I see you dont have it yet)

I will ask it again and again and again. What is wrong with that? If not for sense of superiority we would be still living in caves. This is exactly what drives people to wake up in the morning and do stuff. That's just how humanity works.

And the further we go the less egotistical "rubbish" this game provides. That's why out of 9 millions of people who tried this game, only 225k decided to keep playing.

What would have happened? With this crowd they would have marched to the squeenix offices and set the buildings on fire. Which is childish but my god there's just SO MUCH WHINING from people that want things that they rightfully dont deserve.

I think its egotistical of you to think that you should get something just because you think you should have it, and because YOU THINK that it shouldnt be exclusive anymore. And it's not just legacy players that are tired of the entitled whining, I've only been on the game for maybe a year and a half, and i'm sick of everyone wanting eeeeeverything.

I find it childish that you view someone giving people something AS A REWARD, as preferential treatment. I wouldnt go up to an olympic athlete, and say "You got a medal as a reward, but you got it 3 years ago, thats plenty of time for you to have it. I want a medal now even though I didnt compete, SO THEY NEED TO GIVE ME A MEDAL!

Those items required you to play an entirely different game, which is not longer accessible. Furthermore, we essentially have versions of them already, just not those specific ones. Veteran rewards are unique glamour you have no means of acquiring without years of constant subbing. And you are restricted to six month intervals regardless. They aren't comparable.

Despite being a collector of sorts, I'm fine with those being left exclusive because I essentially view it as SE saying "we wasted your money and time on a garbage game. This is our very small way of making it up to you."

Raiders were PROMISED best gear too not just weapon so twine/coat not needed. A8S was cleared in 225ish stuff? So 240 not needed to complete things?

It's immature. It's unnecessary. It promotes division and snobbery between players. If you absolutely must feel better than other players by having "special" things, there are plenty of sources of mounts/ minions/ gear in the game to earn that not everyone can/ will get. And where are you getting these numbers from?

If they gave out the 1.0 vet items I would most likely delete them. Didn't play at that time and thus I feel I never earned it. I'm fine with waiting to earn my currently available vet rewards. It's all just glamour items, minions or mounts/chocobo barding anyways.
