that is for old player, if you look at the new player who start out and focus on DoH, get those ash will be pain for them, not talk to far but you have 1 here, me. I cant farm for the ash and the market sell for 10k/ash. And tell me to grind a DoW up to r36 is the ridiculous solution you ppl always speak up

Use the old Iron recipe, they are still aplenty and you get Iron Ore much much much easier now (12 Iron Ore from local leve reward? That's double what it was). You can still make Nugget, you just cant turn Nugget -> Ingot.

although we could use old recipes they will be phased out so that is less then ideal, also what's the point in making the older dated items.

I'm trying to highlight the fact a group of mobs seem to be missing. not where you can get it from as an alterntive or alterntive ways to skill up.
