I don't know, in my opinion it is a bit unnecessary change.
All the gamepad players I know even the ones from my static didn't ever mention having problems with it.
But it didn't change much for me, so if it helps others, I really don't mind.

The thing is people made facetarget macros (mostly in pvp) which lead to hitting autoattacks more often which was unfair to others (controller players for example). Also they removed autoface while moving because people for example popped raw intuition while spamming their macro (mostly auto with mouse) to run away while parrying everything (just a example).

I love when PVP changes affect PVE. It's my favorite. The thing is people made facetarget macros (mostly in pvp) which lead to hitting autoattacks more often which was unfair to others (controller players for example). Anyway, everyone plays a little different, and this change looks like it will affect me at least a little. Going to check out the keybind section because I evidently missed a keybind that will turn you away from a mob.
Its not purely for pvp and dont see any problem in pve with these changes. Its not intended to show your front to your enemy while running away its a bug dunno why ppl complain about the fixI love when PVP changes affect PVE. It's my favorite.

This seems a bit of a silly change... But weird and convoluted is SE's way apparently...
