The other beast tribes had two similar things, like a sahagin and a specific named Sahagin (Sea Devil). Moogles gave us a dragonet (which, honestly, I was hoping for as I was doing the quests. I didn't look what the rewards were prior), it didn't have to be a moogle of some kind. A mini of the mount, or a smaller version of the drake we used for quests, or even one of the dragons we spoke with. Not that I would say no to a moogle minion, since from what I know, the only ones in game are bonus code rewards only (meaning you spent RL money on them).
