Why are people complaining about the relic nerf?

Have you considered that not everyone here wants to treat playing a videogame as a second job? Not saying they shouldn't require some effort to obtain, but by and large these complaints don't stem so much from entitlement, so much as expectations as to what they want their games to be. Can you at least respect that?

So don't treat it like a second job, run an hour a day and you will still get your relic. While I don't have an issue with the relic nerfs, the "second job" attitude is entitled, as you expect that the game will give you the same rewards for less effort because you can't play for reason XYZ and you expect that the players who got the rewards the hard way to respect you because "I don't treat the game like a job"

Fair enough, but you are kind of misinterpreting my point. Players are a diverse breed and nobody really as the right to dictate how much time a person spends on a game, aslo assuming the reasons involve "entitlement" or a desire to be hand-holded is a completely narrow-minded viewpoint that rarely ever engages the people you are arguing with and comes off as being dismissive.
