The answer is very simple. No. If you want it, sub for 3 years and get it. Any alternative means is simply a way for people to circumvent the requirements. Sound like a very entitled point of view to me. Also, the idea that Americans don't want or like exclusive items is truly laughable. The USA is individualistic to a fault, exclusivity is their bread and butter.

Laughably, and yet how many "put Lightning's hair on the Cash Shop" threads did we see? Preorders are, again, despised because NA tends to prefer being able to get items through grinds or beating challenges, not being told "buy from this specific store, at this specific time or you'll never get it again." Another example? Console exclusives. The instant they get announced for popular games, people rage. So much so, you hardly ever see them nowadays.
