Veteran Rewards going to 1200 and 1320 days

So is your constant complaints about jump potions. Hasn't stopped you. God forbid someone has a differing opinion though. Such a terrible thing.

Im all for opinions but it seems lately all anyone can talk about is new players like they are fragile little things that won't every get by. Seriously its getting old and annoying. You can say my complaining about a jump potion is a first world problem but from the amount of voices in that thread more are against than for it so yea such a first world problem that is!

... seriously? You're turning this into "my first world problem complaint isn't as bad as yours?" Good lord. There is no fragility here. I just don't love exclusive content and expressed an opinion on it; maybe thinking say, a free month's sub would be better. That's it. I'll live without this just fine, trust me.

Guessing op not planning on being around in 3 years if they think they will never get the veteran rewards and lot of people do like exclusive stuff cause it pretty much a status symbol.

1,320 days is a lot. If someone wants an item you get after 1000 days, but doesn't care about the other items you get along the way, it would feel like you are being asked to subscribe for over 30 months or about $350-$400 usd just to get an item you want. It would require a huge time and financial investment.

I think a fairer way to do things is to give out tokens each month you are subscribed, letting you pick what you want and skip things you don't want.

Guess WHAT? there are people, like myself who have reached that many years of subscription. It isnt even hard to do theres a monthly reup or resub instant transaction option. Yeah some of us, and even 1.0 players payed THAT much into this game. Its only fair that others should have to as well, the rewards arent even that great. some mounts, some minions and some glamours. This isnt even an issue at all, this is, keep supporting the game thanks for your support. This is even a complaint? come on! This isnt something impossible. Wait untill they claim the game is ending officially, then itd be an issue. As far as the complaint about the level jump potion, it applies to the same thing. Someone walks in and wants to be handed all the rewards as if theyve supported this game for years, its bad enough that past holiday events are buyable, now you think people should pay for having not had to be a subscriberfor years cause its not fair for people who didnt support the game when it was new and needed the help. really?

And how would you suggest this token system be done, saving up them for item person wants like Item A is 1 token, Item C is 5 tokens or Item M is 20 tokens and person get one token for every paid month but oh no I guess that won't work out either cause people want only the items they think are cool and right away. Cause I could see a pool selection working but why should person that only played the game 6 months be offered the same rewards as person that been playing 2 years. It like having bronze, silver, gold rewards and wanting to pick a gold reward when they only eligible to pick from the bronze rewards.

Well a good majority of people enjoy exclusive content and rewards because it shows how long we have been around and sometimes is a good conversation piece with newer players. But sadly days of exclusive goodies are over for the most party because people think they are entitled to every little thing ever created.

Where did I ever suggest it being a Cash Shop item? Please find that direct quote, I'll wait. What I don't like about content like this is no amount of effort on my part always me to get it if I so chose. If I like or want something enough, I will (and have) worked for it. This, isn't that though. It's simply waiting years with no means of influencing the time or even choosing the reward you prefer ala what MikeWW mentioned. And this isn't even a complaint, just someone voicing a little (emphasis on little) disappointment that I might not be able to get something even if I were willing to work for it, because no, I don't plan my life three years in advance.

There isn't a conversation there outside of my asking how I can possibly get it, finding out and not caring anymore. This isn't like say, achievements, where I can literally go and do them even if it entails a long grind or beating a super boss. Entitlement would imply I just wanted something handed to me for free. I don't. Ironically, you wanting exclusivity can be argued as entitlement, if we're going down that slope. No offense, but you didn't work for this. You paid more money for a longer period of time than I have. If you want to spin the whole "supporting the game" argument. The Cash Shop technically supports the game too.
