Just reading your abilities should be more then enough.
If players can't be arsed to do that, they're not going to pay attention to a tutorial.

Yeah this, It pops up in the middle of your screen when you level up and get a new action. If players can't be bothered to read the tooltip for that skill you can't really help them anymore.
I meet a lot of players who don't know their class. I don't bother explaining it to them because I don't know who's behind that screen.
My husband and friends made fun of someone one day in game. The next day, I got in a chat and they were there. The person had a mental disability. I wouldn't say like autism but maybe Down syndrome ? Point being, I understood why he chose to play the way he did.
Boy did it hurt.
Sure, I still get mad if I'm in a raid and maxing my dps and the bard isn't using WM or the BLM doesn't use ley lines or Enochain, but I can't force themnor do I want to after what happened.

I dunno about you but my MCH abilties tell me nothing about a Wildfire rotation or how you've messed up badly if you get it wrong.
"Covers target's body in a slow-burning pitch.
For the next 15 seconds, 25% of most damage you inflict upon the target is compiled, then dealt at the end of the effect's duration."
Pretty self explanatory no?
Point being, If people cant be bothered to read skill tooltips, I don't think they're that bothered about getting their rotations correct either.
Not in the least, that's just like any ability tooltip it doesn't mention when to use reload in relation to it, it doesn't say to use a 1-2-1-3-2 combo when you do, it doesn't say to use it when you have slugshot procced. All of which are important when it comes to a MCH's rotation any lost GCD is less widfire damage and less wildfire damage reduces your dps drastically. If you do really bad you've messed up ever single one of your CD's that sync up with each other resulting in even more loss of damage.
99% of the playerbase didn't figure it out until smarter people told them how (myself included).

And sometimes, you ask a question in the right place and people just don't answer it. *shrug* I try to do the best I can, but I know I'm not totally efficient. I'm definitely not a 200dps type of person, but I try not to be too much of a drag.
The tooltips usually require ability to follow logicpaths and experimenting to see what works best. Not in the least, that's just like any ability tooltip it doesn't mention when to use reload in relation to it, it doesn't say to use a 1-2-1-3-2 combo when you do, it doesn't say to use it when you have slugshot procced. There is no logic coming to the MCH skillset for non-geniuses.
You get an ability and say "Where the hell do I put this" then go running to Youtube and the forums in a state of desperation and bewilderment ^^
My tooltips say Cleanshot at 200 potency. Ricochet is 100 to the target and then 200 distrubuted around nearby enemies.
So Ricochet is better for AoEing then? Wrong.... Hits one target mutliple times if not surrounded.
