You'd probably go faster with 3 DPS and 1 Whm. You don't need a tank when everything is always stunned and a Whm is going to do a LOT more than a Pld.Or the parties you get aren't good at dodging stuff.
The problem with this game is healing and damage mitigation are a joke. Enemies are all trash. Tanks can make huge pulls and still take almost no damage at all. There's just never any real having to do.
Been running the expert roulettes a few times without any healers recently with friends. PLD 3 dps and go. Don't need healers. Clemency is more than enough to cover what little damage you do take
It's not so much that healers / dps / tanks need a complete revamp.
The problem lies with virtually all enemies being pure trash. They don't hit hard enough to warrant any real healing. Or like other people have said they don't hit hard enough to warrent tanking or mitigation.
I'd say it's the weakness of mobs that's the root cause of the issues. Revamping player classes won't really help anything.
I was being very sarcastic when I made that comment, my point being that you can't use flawed content to criticize core gameplay. If an expert roulette can be done with 0 healers, that indicates a problem with the difficulty curve of the content rather than healing gameplay.
If the person I replied to earlier had argued that most existing content is too easy and is kind of an insult to the intelligence level of the player base, then we might have had a very interesting conversation on how to keep the game engaging for a diverse audience while introducing some difficulty, but that would have been slightly off topic.

My original comment that experts could be done without healer was more aimed at why healers are always expected to be DPSing in relation to the ops comments.
Not sure what kind of expert roulettes you people are running because I've yet to see a run where the tank can last without healing. I roll summoner and can't even keep them up with Physic spam when the healer goes afk suddenly.
I once ran expert with one SMN and three healers lmao. Similarly, I recently 3-manned Sor Kai on Duty Finder because the tank left before the first pull and we decided to tackle it on our own instead of just waiting. The replacement tank didn't arrive until we were halfway through the last boss, and we didn't have a single wipe. The difference here is that, without a tank+healer, you can't really do super big pulls. No matter how weak the mobs in dungeons are, a tank will quickly drop to 0 if the pull is big enough.
Its complicated. I recommend just at least trying to maintain uptime on ur DoTs and no one can fault you. As long as no one dies, free DPS is always a nice bonus. But don't forget, HPS comes first.i want to make healer class but everytime i party (as dps) i always see the healer doing CS then help dpsing not once not twice, like everytime iam in party.
I have almost zero experience as healer in mmo, i want to try in this game because how easy to switch class in here but the though of doing that just..... My eyes will be busy looking at the party hp (and some aoe dodging i guess) and i still need to stance dancing and help dpsing?
Anyone can help with some insight?
Not sure if server affect people playstyle but i play in tonberry (jp server)
