The Yokai Watch event pretty much set a precedent in anything potentially having a crossover event.

yeah we all know why the crossover happened though and it is really unfortunate that it did because the event is terrible, the mounts are terrible, and now everyone wants some crap crossovers.

It might be unrelated to FF but that not what they said which what I was replying to.

It's starting to get ridiculous now some of these "I want a <insert game or title that is completely unreleated to FF or SE here> crossover event in FFXIV!" requests that are being made by players. Fanservice is one thing, but the game needs to stand on it's own merits without having other games/series riding on it's coattails.

Yes maybe you should have worded it differently since you so good at comprehension. As it pretty much a given someone going to create a thread about any type of cross over that SE has it hand in regardless if it related to FF itself or not.
