The magitek take damage better than a tank, it has replaceable components and more its realistic. Therefore a better tank.

I grew up playing lots of robot games. The magitek aren't ginormous like those in Xenogear, etc. So it would work without over powering the game mechanics.

We need to help Square Enix make a better Final Fantasy game and reality. The magitek is already shooting things in the opening movie so mind as well add it in the game already.

Yeah! A Magitek Healer would help, or Repairs person to fix up our robots like an Engineer. We had some in older Final Fantasy tittles.

The game suffers from same looking monster syndrome. My post Female Monsters would help add a variety of new different looking monsters to the game. Like more females and male counters for us to fight. Not just girls but different looking enemies. I suggested the idea because a lot of monsters in the game look the same or are boring. Adding different colored ones and making girl ones should fix this instead of just adding a blue one and call it something else. We have kids in college who are dying to do this kind of work for free. And people like you and me who just want to express their ideas to help the community. i just want to fight cool monsters all over Eorzea not just at the end of the game, there is a lot of quest and fates to do. there is room for variety. I think the designers need to get help from others instead of just taking the whole load for them. So when you are out fighting in a dungeon you can see that the monster community actually exist! THAT COOL. Monsters with personality. That's why i suggested the girls because they are cool. I know there are other monsters in the game. But having more added would be good for the world. Specially new players. So yeah, Comments!

Surprised people are losing it when someone makes a class request/idea thread. Must've just started playing ff14 since this been going on since the beginning of Realm Reborn (Dancer and Painter Class ftw).

The monsters are getting repetitive but its to be suspected now that we've plyed for so long but I seen games make femal models of monsters to extend the interest of the players. Toukiden and Monster Hunter for instance. Toukiden had a sequel called kiwami where female demons appeared that were different than most monsters but had similarities to certain male counterparts. Monster Hunter had Rathlos and the Rathian, a female and male dragon (can't tell which is which now). They were similar in apearance but attacked differently. It'd be a easy way to add something new if they did it that way.

About the mech thing, I'd have to agree with Kosmos on that. I mean I LOVE White Knight Chronicles but being in control of a mech like the magitek would be prety wierd, unless it was like a limit break or something making the character temporarily a mech form or something like that. maybe a temporary power boost thing idk. The idea could work balance wise though. If anything the devs are all about balance in classes and the class could be somewhat of a caster based one of a sort.

You should check out air tasers, they could kill you, well the one from Syphon Filter anyway

In all honesty, I think it's got a lot more to do with who is requesting it, how, and in what font, than it being a class request thread.

On topic: shouldn't this just be an vehicle augmentation to be used when entering Garlean or near-Garlean lands? Deck out your vehicle, while still allowing for synergy with any and all classes.

The Engineer is a machine maker that uses gadgets and robots to fight monsters with and cure friends. Like an army or police officer he uses a handgun and taser for fighting. I choose the Beretta because is a really nice weapon for long range shooting. and the taser get deployed when the enemy gets too close, can be made into the main weapon. I also want the ENG class to have a detonating R/C Car, or boat.
