Its a man on top of a robot kind of job class with two health bars one for the mech and a player health bar. With mount and dismount options or team skills. Efficient at tanking and riding faster because the mech could have jets mounted. and other guns. seems fitting because of the robots that are already commendable in FF. The player without a mech could wield a taser for close range combat and a pistol for a medium ranged attack. Perhaps have armor like elemental or electrocuting spikes that deal damage like thorns of the Red Mage on the armor.

Sounds like he's introducing a class idea called "The Cavalier". A Taser will be the main hand and a long range pistol would be the secondary....what? Never heard of a Long ranged Pistol before. Just a normal pistol would be fine with this game. I guess a robot would be its soul stone ability.....not sure if I like it much. May want to add some more details and in a easier font to look at.

focus on the future of tanking roles by implementing this new job class. and refining the mount system. i think this class should work just fine and end the need to resurrect players constantly.

I wrote to squareenix about this one and another few jobs. Berserker, Necromancer, Chocobo Rider, and Cavalier. still no response.

Its Mecha job class that rides a Magitek Armor robot that allows the player to fight from the magitek. When unlocked it allows players to fight on a the mounted robot with different skills. Two health bars. Customizable weapons. Efficient at tanking. idea of having jets for faster movement. A Taser or Electric kind of weapon in a holster for the main weapon. I also thought of the Repair Man class job that would do the upgrades for the Magitek, which would be a subclass that uses gadgets on wheels to attack and support players. Like it could deliver potions and things like that. Perhaps have armor with elemental properties that would deal damage like thorns of the Red Mage on the armor. Not to mention there should be a class that uses Minions for fighting but that's completely off topic just another idea. So yeah it would fit well in our world. thank you i thought of calling it Magitek Soldier.

No, sorry, if you want mech fighting, this is not your game. Don't get me wrong, I loved White Knight Chronicles in which players had a huge magical/robotic mech that they could transform into for battle. But giving that ability to a single class/job is so unbalanced as to be ridiculous. Even if it were not overpowered it would make all other classes feel inferior in one fell swoop.

A better concept would be a magitek armour that every job/class could use that would transform into during battle for a limited set of turns and enhance specific abilities. Although using the magitek would completely drain your TP and MP when the transformation ended.

See Xenosaga, White Kinght Chronicles and several other JRPGs for how this works.

The advantage of this is that it works for all classes/jobs and is therefore more easily balanced in content as it scales from existing abilities.

The magitek take damage better than a tank, it has replaceable components and more its realistic. Therefore a better tank.

I grew up playing lots of robot games. The magitek aren't ginormous like those in Xenogear, etc. So it would work without over powering the game mechanics.

We need to help Square Enix make a better Final Fantasy game and reality. The magitek is already shooting things in the opening movie so mind as well add it in the game already.

Yeah! A Magitek Healer would help, or Repairs person to fix up our robots like an Engineer. We had some in older Final Fantasy tittles.

The game suffers from same looking monster syndrome. My post Female Monsters would help add a variety of new different looking monsters to the game. Like more females and male counters for us to fight. Not just girls but different looking enemies. I suggested the idea because a lot of monsters in the game look the same or are boring. Adding different colored ones and making girl ones should fix this instead of just adding a blue one and call it something else. We have kids in college who are dying to do this kind of work for free. And people like you and me who just want to express their ideas to help the community. i just want to fight cool monsters all over Eorzea not just at the end of the game, there is a lot of quest and fates to do. there is room for variety. I think the designers need to get help from others instead of just taking the whole load for them. So when you are out fighting in a dungeon you can see that the monster community actually exist! THAT COOL. Monsters with personality. That's why i suggested the girls because they are cool. I know there are other monsters in the game. But having more added would be good for the world. Specially new players. So yeah, Comments!
