And for the AST being in melee range help in case of RR spread card because he throw it on himself while dpsing and everyone is buff tank include

Auto-attack seems pathetic for you but i can tell you that every little dps increase is good to take
Either casual content or raid content

Beside

You don't inform a dps to stand with the group
It should be a natural thing for him
If he don't... Letting him eat the ground is a good way to teach him

Well, it's a small AoE around you (5 or 6y), but since its total potency is just 70 (20 initial + 50 from the DoT), it's really only worth it on 3+ enemies (2+ in level 50 content) that live for at least 9 more seconds, otherwise you just Broil or Blizzard II (on 4+ enemies). It should never be used on bosses.
