    Where is this statement you refere to?

    I know they said the jobs would be more group defining for a class, and the class itself would be more suited to soloing.

    As a personal opinion, I actually wouldn't be surprised if Conjurer LOST access to Curaga etc once White Mage is implemented on the basis that it has been acting simply as a placeholder till the party-play jobs are ready, with these abilities becoming one of those class-specific things.
