Its not 800 i had mine in a day more or less farming on and off its not that hard do an hour a day the event runs for a while
It very much is around 800 FATEs on average.

Estimated around 25% drop rate + 222 medals needed = would actually be closer to 900 FATEs on average.

Methinks all you did was just get the minions, because that's way easier.
