Can we stop destroying the solo part of this game?

That is why i do not party up to grind..
Who wants a game to be so easy a 3 year old can do it ?
If they bash on solo why not bash on party..
If i would have partied since the beginning of the game..
I would not be playing FF right now as everything would have been lvl 50.

What other MMOs do you know that have the FFXIV Gladiator and Archer? In other words, in what way is what is done in other MMOs in the slightest bit relevant to anything being discussed here? (also, you didn't say anything about other MMOs, do you READ your own posts?)

Keep in mind that an glad has more armor to equip then an archer..
We don't have lvl 50 war garb and stuff we only get cheap looking clothing.
Archers have a very powerfull attack but gla has way more defence. SO both can never be equal.
In pvp as example an gla does not stand a chance against an archer if the archers plays it smart.

You can want MMOs to be solo oriented all you want. You can mack a post to argue every other post here (although a intelligent person would use multiquote, which you seem to overlook) but it will not change the fact that the rest of the community is here dissagreeing with you. Post till your fingers bleed. It will not change the fact that your the minority in your thinking.

Cry, whine, moan, and complain all you like. Nothing says "I don't get it " more then crying in post that you can't solo the game with easen in a game, clearly based on the symbiotic relationship between all its classes. Its designed for multiple players to work together to acconplish goals, quests, NM kills, boss kills, to develop bonds and LS comrodery.

You can solo kill mobs around your level, which reguarless of what you heard, experienced MMO players can tell you thats standard. You can solo leves and other quest design to gain XP and level. They removed easy mode because the community asked for it.

If you do not like all that, don't play, this game is not for you.

I don't think he knows what hes talking about now, he claims he wants a challenge (3 lvl 46 is def a challenge). He doesn't want new content (that could be quests to do while he gets to lvl 46 so he doesn't have to do those at a low level). Guess you are pretty much screwed.

I´m a heavy soloer and I don´t know which game your guys are playing?! I soloed as GLA, MRD, PUG and ARCH after patch, and its faster than before. First thing, read the notes, second, update your equipament, status matter now and keep your level near the mobs. I´m doing chain 3 easily for 670~ exp, getting almost 12-14k exp hour soloing with any class.

You guys are trying to kill/fight same mobs as before the patch, that not gonna work.

see I don't understand this. I think this is a troll. just fighting monsters the same rank as me wipes out my HP bar. forget anything higher. this is a major flaw.

that's a game where you can log in for an hour and do something. that's what they said 14 was going to be. it's turning out like 11. you spend the 1 hour looking for people to do even the most basics of things. if i want 11 i'll play it but don't make 14 like that.

No, because people actually like playing in groups -- The only people with problems are those who want to solo an entire MMO and SE isn't allowing that.

Also, adding in XI was unnecessary, pretty much every MMO has group content and group grinding, it's only recent MMOs that pushes "Hey you don't need to play with other people to play our MMO!"

I'm pretty sure i could solo way back in the days of uo, eq,eq2 and nearly all the other mmos i have ever played cept 2. Soloing has always been around. Its not a new concept. The only thing recent mmos have brought to the table is that they've seen a bigger market with solo players or even small groups.

Alot of ppl just like to log on and just start playing. They don't want to wait for a group, its just a pointless time sink that bores most ppl.

Funny, people who like to solo are telling people who like to party that it's an outdated playstyle, so I think it's not the people who like group content that needs to "get over something".

I don't see anything in this thread asking for solo only content, generally most solo vs group threads consist of you and your buddies saying making ppl group is a good thing. Whereas the solo players aren't asking for things handed to them like you and your buddies seem to claim alot. Quote the post that says that. All they ask is that its not a group only game.

Honestly i have been able to fight mobs at or 1 level more than me with no problem. I do agree that solo grinding is slower but it makes perfect sense. When you group up it becomes the combined strength of 2,3,4 etc people so clearly you should be able to drop things faster than when you are by yourself.

When i first started playing this game with my friend it seemed to me that the game seemed to emphasize solo play so much with the lack of group dungeons or specific group quests.
