During Ozma in the Wiling City of Mhach I got the meteor on me and proceeded to run to the back of the platform... and onwards right over the edge. >_<

Lol I'm pretty sure lb isn't effected by trick attack. That'd be kinda op

Oh well, wishful thinking on my part then! But it's soo satisfying to see the boss' hp goes from 20% to 0% (lvl 50, static with same eq) so I thought it was affected.

I finally dusted off my bard alt and was finishing up his MS/end game stuff... opening all the dungeons, weepign city, the EXs, etc.
I opened antitower and ran it with two FC mates and a DF'd tank..... got to the last boss and was DPSing down a doll (at the very beginning) near the entry. I repel shotted one doll, killed it, and continued to shoot from where I landed, onto the next doll.

The boss room barrier closed.
With me just barely outside of it.

Edda Broomstick, or whatever her name is. That boss on level 50 in Deep Dungeon.

Well, to start with, I got a tank that basically pulled big and often tried to outrun everyone (to be fair he knew what he was doing though), but then once we got to the final boss he went up to it and,........ did nothing apparently. I cast Enochian > Ley Lines mash Ley Lines until it goes off > Swiftcast mash Swiftcast until it goes off > Thunder III mash Thunder III until it goes off (Fire III often pulls aggro at the start) when all of a sudden she starts coming after me. Uhhhhhhh.... Took some time for the tank to get aggro back on that one. Strike one on me (I guess?).

I'm also playing as a black mage during this, a class I'm only just starting to learn. And it looks like I got some UI work to do because I got hit with with all but one of her Cold Feet attacks, due to me now having to look at 2 different cast bars, in 2 different spots, as well as my hotbar since I still haven't got it memorized yet. It was easier the last time on my monk since I've played it enough to where I can pretty much do my rotation with only a glance at my hotbar, not so with the BLM. Strike two.

As is my habit with all ranged DPSers, I DPS just within striking range, as far from the target as possible. Bad move with an attack like In Health. I think I got hit once or twice by it, just barely not making it in. Eventually all this caused all the runes to light up, eventually wiping the party. Only having one chance is a blessing in disguise, I'd have been kicked otherwise.

go to aetherial manip out of there like usual
was on a different hotbar than usual
end up casting bliz2 instead...

My biggest advice for you Joe is learning how to use and abuse of aetherial manipulation
This will change your life !

Otherwise yeah
Dispite what many people say
A ranged DPS is not everytime as far as possible of the boss
But more at melee range which help a lot !

Made a second attempt on her, which I mostly redeemed myself (stayed mid-range the whole time and only got hit by one In Health). I made 3 Aetherial Manipulation macros, one for each party member. This time around I kept it simple, just using Thunder III and Fire I and leaning on Firestarter and Thunderstruck for extra damage since I didn't want to overcommit. We beat her eventually Thanks for the tip ;]

I accidentally targeted ozma 3 times in wiping city as mch and accidentally clicked x when i was trying to reload all 3 times and auto attack ozma i derped so hard i dont mch mo more that raid we wiped those 3 times i just sat there and didnt buff till they pull felt ashamed that day was one of the detpiest moments

I won't lie.... once in a blue moon I'll flare with transpose still far into CD and just sit there twiddling my thumbs and pretending to be busy until I have enough mana to cast a Blizz1. Don't ask me how it happens, but once in a while I derp heavily on my rotation and this is the result.

You're not alone! I've done this a couple of times! Lesson learned: don't play when you're half asleep! xD
