Ok, so do any of the fates areas have known guaranteed drops for certain legendary medals, or was that hint totally bogus?

I want to say yes, certain FATES do drop it everytime, seen the Legend for USApyon drop again and again for that cactuar FATE thing [ can't remember the name ] in W.Thana

Can confirm, Legendary Medals for specific Yo-Kai are guaranteed for certain Fates.

I.E. USApyon's Legendary Medal HAS dropped 3 times in a row FOR ME in the FATE Bubble Trouble AND Needles to Slay in W.Thanalan

I'm pretty sure they're not "guaranteed" drops, but I have noticed that certain quests seem to have increased drop rates, like the Fates that spawn in Beast Tribe areas and a lot of successive Fates (ones that have multiple parts to them).

These drop rates are not as bad as people are making them out to be. They drop at a rate that's pretty much equal to the current state of the Atma Grind, but you just have to get multiples of them, that's all.

Acknowledging it does not make it any better ^_^. Good thing it is optional, and I'm perfectly satisfied with my 3 weapons and the mount I got for collecting all the minions. I just feel bad for collectors and completionists now =/.
